To echo the users above, Rapid is one of the most stable plugins I own as well.

I just went to their website and they already have Black Friday offers posted.

And they posted minor update:
- Improved DAW compatibility.
- Updated SDK versions.
So Rapid is alive and for me it is good news.
Roadmap text also updated.

40% off, even better than last years 30%. Good deal, I’ll definitely pick up some more expansions this year.

So the cycle does continue. The yearly very minor update then a Black Friday cash grab errrr I mean sale.
Here's the new "Roadmap"
"Feature Roadmap
New exciting features are in development and will be released with every major update. It's only a matter of time.
This list is not complete and does not guarantee that every feature will be implemented immediately or in any specific order.
Rapid 1.9
This version will focus on delivering more dynamic routing methods. A key highlight of this release is the inclusion of MSEG (Multi-Segment Envelope Generator) curves and an advanced mapping editor, offering users precise control over envelope shaping for more complex and expressive modulation.
Vision for Future Versions
Rapid already provides Wavetables, Multi-Samples, Frequency Modulation, Phase Modulation and even Granular Synthesis. Still, there are possibilities for specific sample based sources that ease the creative process.
Looking ahead, future iterations of Rapid Synthesizer may introduce features such as new oscillator sources. These could include additive, FFT or drum slicing based effects. Expanded effect slots are also under consideration".
Here are the "additions" in the last two years:
1.8.6 - 20. November 2022
Additions:
VST3 Support.
Preset Browser: Right arrow key loads the currently selected preset.
Routing: Insert/Remove Routing Entries.
OpenGL Capability Test, to get information about the used graphics driver, in case of problems with GPU Renderer mode.
1.8.7 - 23. December 2022
Additions:
Quick import for oscillator content drag and drop.
1.8.8 - 19. November 2023
Additions:
Display the current value when setting a sequence step.
1.8.9 - 22. November 2024
Additions:
Improved DAW compatibility.
OS SDK Updates.
Hardly impressive and not one feature that actually moves it forward as a synth. But we'll see if they actually deliver a "major update" this time or if we'll be having the same conversation during the next Black Friday cash grab. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt but quite frankly they've given me little reason to do so. Once a year sale then radio silence for the other 364 days is unacceptable despite what the sycophants say.
But I suppose it's nice to know they still have pulse so there's that. Again I don't even care about updates just let me know if I will still be able to authorize it in the future if you decide to move on. Is that too much to ask? I guess so.....

Well, at least there is something we can see that is actively being worked on to make a great synth even better than it is.

Thanks for the 1.8.9 maintenance update, it is much appreciated. Looking forward to 1.9.0 when it is eventually released.
