Ozone vs Fabfilter for mastering

I'm not a mastering engineer.
But use whatever you have. If you have the FF stuff that will be perfect for mastering a tune and vice versa. I think Ozone is a tidy package and convenient to use and can do it all a bit faster. But not necessarily better per se.

I have better things to do with my time than to analyse and listen to 20 masters from a random guy on the Internet to prove something to him. Who do you think you are? Why should I even humour you? Plus, it's in bad faith. I couldn't care less about your little blind test. I've tried both limiters extensively. I hear a big difference between them. I've got absolutely nothing, nothing at all, to prove to anyone. The Main Event wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 12:10 pmWhats up? Are you shy telling us your blind test results? It would be "alarming to say the least" if you couldnt stand to your word.EfreetiSultan wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2024 5:09 pm...Jac459 wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2024 5:01 pmMmm, I think that the consensus is that the problem is not your opinion but the way you expressed your opinion. Isn't it clear ?EfreetiSultan wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2024 4:41 pmyou literally just did... you said "claiming something thats not true"The Main Event wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2024 4:40 pm I didnt say that its wrong that you prefere one over the other.... *facepalm*
I didnt claim anything not true. I stated an opinion. How is it so hard to grasp. Facepalm yourself.
.. so tired of this arguing, im really flabbergasted by the animosity towards me for a simple opinion, its really kind of strange. have a good weekend. peace.
And using an excuse to afterward say "it is just an opinion" is not very honest. You didn't express it as an opinion, you expressed it as a primary truth that anybody should agree on.
Just own it. Everybody has bad days...
I can absolutely own it, and do - but since the argument is still going on, what should I do?
...
...
Its funny that you can silence ALL the so-called experts that can hear all the differences between certain products (may it be plugins, electric guitar "tonewood", amp simulation software or whatnot) with a simple blindtest. Suddenly they disappear. Always the same. This was a prime example.![]()
Now, if YOU can't hear that difference that's fine but to say others can't is stupid. Bye now

For me, convenient and faster is ideal. Ultimately I just want to polish off my tracks as best as possible- I've made music for decades but really never done much mastering beyond smashing a limiter onto things.Effectsworks wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 12:29 pm I'm not a mastering engineer.

Let me get this straight. Me asking for advice about music software on a music software forum is ridiculous and something you felt the need to insult me over?carambo wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 9:38 pm Lol, what a ridiculous thread, "should I ise Ozone or FF ?"
Should I wear a white or blue tshirt tomorrow ?
