10K US in the hole
is it just small like me that aren't being paid?

Crikey. On the one hand it's good to know that it's not only the tiny guys like me that they're picking on. On the other hand though - I feel for you.
Let's hope they sort it out - but if a lot of big MyCommerce businesses move to other MoR providers then it is possible that mycommerce will have a problem

We're good as we have other sources of income and some funds stashed in easily cashed investments.
I'm more concerned about people who cannot switch to other MoRs quickly and who depend on a steady income.
That said, I'm just very glad this didn't happen during Black Friday sales. That's when I hope that many of us can make up for this shit and get back on track.

Reminds me of the time almost 20 years ago when RegNow (another DR MoR) were making payment to some sellers onto a card and that went t*ts up.
I'm having terrible problems posting. It keeps telling me it's spam.

P.S. I read the reviews at Glassdoor and found their laid off employees saying the company is facing financial difficulties.
For good side, a few popular big companies using DR as well, such as Adobe. Less like to be fully scammed. But definitely, we will lost small-to-medium amount money from our sales.
No matter what the problem would be, it is time for a switch. As for alternatives, Paddle and 2Checkout are quite picky for new signups, a lot of verification documents. Fastspring is easier to get approved!

I found this forum searching online if other DR publihsers are affected by this changes and withholding our earnings. We’ve been their customers for 13 years, but this is outrageous . We are also unpaid for three months now. I just received a poor reply to my ticket that “they received my inquiry about the pending payout and they will advise me shortly “
They have told me previously that for the July earning the payout will be executed on September 30th. This never happened and I am stuck in the same situation as all of you are unfortunately! If the situation doesn’t change , can we file a mutual report to the authorities? What do you think ?

Hi Saska79,
I see a couple of different scenarios and still hope that we'll eventually receive our money. It might as well turn out that they'll file for bankruptcy soon in which case it'll be hard for anybody to see their money depending on how bad the finiancial situation is for them. 40% lay-offs and having to pay severance, while plenty of vendors are now dropping out looking for alternatives ain't no joke. I guess if there will be any payouts at all, the big fish such as Adobe will be paid first.
We are currently working hard to swith to a different MoR ASAP, so we can continue selling stuff and hopefully partake in the end of year business and roll out our scheduled releases in order to compensate for this unfortunate sh*t.
Best,
Ray
Yep, we also received a message from their support on Monday, stating that the payout should have been initiated on September 30th. But not a single dime has shown up on our account until today (Friday) and I guess it's the same for every vendor that's working with them.Saska79 wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 9:45 pm They have told me previously that for the July earning the payout will be executed on September 30th. Hi Ray,
Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately we are all in the same situation and of course we are moving to another platform too . The hardest part is regaining the subscribers again which takes time and lots of effort…
I hope for the best resolution and that we too although smaller vendors will still be able to receive our earnings ..
Best wishes
Saska

I don't do subscriptions. My s/w is a one off payment from user so fairly easy for me to switch to a new provider. I'm mainly angry with myself for waiting till October before actually moving. But I do still need to support those users who've paid to mycommerce even though I might not see their money.
Would be interesting to know how many people are leaving mycommerce now. If it's just a temporary glitch in their system that'll sort itself out eventually and we'd get our money. But it might still be the end of MyCommerce if too many people stop using their system and we'll never see our money.
There's only a handfull of us here talking about it. Does anyone see any chatter on other websites? Social media?

So another worried MyCommerce user here who has just joined this forum to comment on this. Used them for 17 years. No payment since July. You have to search pretty deep to find this forum, but i imagine others are looking at it and haven't registered. I haven't seen it discussed else where apart from a very recent an slightly odd tweet. I'm concerned that they seem to be saying 'were waiting for higher management' - as opposed to 'sorry, the payment script failed, we're working on it, and you'll get your money soon'. Because without re assurance, why should we continue to let them take money on our behalf, with it looking like we won't get it back. So we've stopped letting them take payments, and i would guess most others have too. And so it would all seem to be a self fullfilling prophesy that they will fail, unless they act quickly and tell us honestly what is happening... and pay us what they owe us. And it has prompted us to look for alternatives - which tbh look better anyway

I’m in personal e-mail contact with one of their customer success managers in Cologne, and she wants to give me a feedback once she has news from her management.

No news, there is a wall of silence at DR.
If anyone else knows anything, please post it here.
This needs as much attention as possible.
Anyone who has press contacts should let them know.
