I thought I won't buy anything software anymore (especially when I stopped using PayPal for anything, which helped a lot in cutting lots of unnecessary expenses!). But with all that firm attitude, I still bought two soft synths after I really liked them a lot after second time demoing them!
1. GeForce TV5 Pro
2. Korg Multi/Poly
I'm very picky now however! It is rare that I buy anything (not only music related!). I feel I have 'everything'

after a long time of not buying anything, there were some new developments that I find too interesting not to have.
- Madrona Labs Sumu
- Physical Audio Modus
- Physical Audio Preparation 2
- Physical Audio Tetrad
GeForce TV5 Pro is very well done, but I expect that the Sequential Fourm can do similar things, so I didn't buy the TV5 yet.

Bought Tal Bassline 101 and Tal Mod because they have Native linux versions
Then i managed to hack Wine right to work properly after that so now I have my Roland cloud plugins installed + Arturia so i didn't actually need the Tal's in the end but they sound great and they are true linux version so it was worth it.

Tal-pha and Tal J8. & CA Chroma I was going to go for TAL sampler, but I use MPC Studio and all my bases are covered with the in built sampler, I don't really sample a lot to be fair, only my bass guitar lines.

Got the $30 Amplitube and Tonex plugins at plugin boutique. So Now I get to choose 49 more bits of software, if IK's website ever works.

I've not bought any software this year; need a new computer and then I'll be looking at Omnisphere 3
and upgrading Live sometime in the new year.
