Technical Details:
Choosen Synth: Yamaha DX7 Mk.1 – built Oct. 1983 – 13 Years and 8 Months before I was even born :O

Every sound was first programmed from init in Dexed, than the whole track was created. Afterwards each sound was saved to sysex and send to the hardware DX7. Some of the presets had to be tweaked on the hardware itself (I was to lazy to do it in dexed, save the preset and than send it again to the hardware again XD ) mostly because the Attack on the EGs were a bit off, and the Key Velocity was sometimes off.

This month, for no apparent reason, I've gone for Kilohearts' Phase Plant. Given that this can use any kHs plugin internally, there are very few external plugins used. As is becoming increasingly usual, the title here has nothing to do with the track.

This uses 16 instances of Phase Plant in Tracktion Waveform Pro 13. Surprisingly light on the CPU although it did crash a few times. The following plugins were also used:

- the usual dpMeter, BlueCat Gain3 and KClip3 (rather than Zero as commercial plugins are allowed this month) for Clip to Zero
- SSL Native FlexVerb to try to add a little something to the bass
- Mastering the Mix MIXROOM and BASSROOM for eq
- Minimal Audio Cluster Delay
- Neold U2A on the percussion buss
- Neold Big Al for a wee bit saturation
- Mastering the Mix FASTERMASTER for mastering: don't usually use automated master thingies but as this doesn't mention AI anywhere, I thought I'd give it a go...

There are some Holy Grail style coconut horses in there somewhere.

27 instances of ODIN 2 synthesizer used to create a track.

I decided to spend another weekend with ODIN 2 and explore its other side. Also, I wanted to use Photonic's piano patch, the only time I can use piano for OSC. The song is a bit different compared to what I usually make with a much more peaceful attitude, but it is still heavily influenced by retro sci-fi videogames. It is intended to be played in the main menu or in between missions.
