Unfortunately crashed Cubase 12 as soon as I tried to pick a preset

Sounds pretty much like what happened to me with Cubase 12, I sent them an email with the details, hopefully they can get it fixed soon.

Got it working in Reaper. I think it needed a bit more time for polish. Can't use it at all in FL Studio yet due to the instant crashing.

Some elements have been downgraded in terms of functionality, and others like the modulation and sequencer have been expanded. There are fewer filters than Phonec2. Pitch modulation is unipolar only? Don't like that.

The non-legato mono behaviour has been improved, as has the preset system. Those were my two biggest gripes with Phonec2 so that's good. Maybe a round of bugfixes will smooth it all out.

Phonec 2 and Phonec 3 can be installed side by side. However, Phonec 2 no longer produces sound in recent versions of certain hosts, including (but not necessarily limited to) Logic 11. I don't have a complete list or any idea why. It still works fine in Renoise 3.4.3.

Never mind. Turns out I never got Phonec 2. Wonderful. I should be able to download that in the meantime.

All good on Reaper! (Windows 11) What a pleasure to get it back!
Had one crash at the moment though.

I don't know how to import banks from Phonec 2, I know this was under development. The "IMPORT PRESET" function from the presets menus doesn't show anything at the moment and dropping and .bnk file has no effect either.

Phonec 3 seems to load the Phonec 2 individual saved .pst preset. You have to save a preset with the S button in Phonec 2 and it appears in the list Import in Phonec 3.

As I see someone can contact the dev and get replies, I guess I won't get a reply at all. A bit sad, as a long-time customer I've always had a good dialogue before.

Are you sending the email from something like Protonmail or another similar service? Sometimes mail from those companies gets rejected as spam.

I only own Phonec CM, a special strip-down version of Phonec 2 which doesn't allow for saving individual presets or loading banks. This function is also disabled in Phonec 2 demo.

I guess I'll have to do without them! It's a shame as Phonec 2 default presets library seems more extensive than v.3 (I've installed Phonec 2 demo to check it out) but maybe I'm just wrong!
