So do you honestly think ALL songs on a CD are great??

I though worst case scenario from dEUS was great from start to end - there isn't a single filler track (the later albums are not up to the same standard throughout though) - I wouldn't skip a single song, and I still love it, 10 years later!

same applies to my tangerine dream collection, most of the pixies stuff (doolittle is a bit weak somehow), ben harper etc etc etc.

I wouldn't buy a CD if I didn't think that at least 80% of the songs were good, very good or amazing; that's what singles are for

on the other hand, there are a fair number of artists that I like, but that have a habit of releasing utter bollocks as well (sonic youth are a prime example here)
