1/64 32/1 and maybe even 64/1 LFO sync speed. Also 32 as maximum lfo freq could be raised to 64 too. Switch for positive and negative polarity of Comb filter. I've already mentioned it somewhere but gain for each filter.

I've got an idea. Make those evnvelopes completely free besides maybe amp envelope. The idea behind it is that I can use for example envelope of osc 1 for something else without touching the amplitude of osc 1. So every osc's amplitude is related to amp envelope.

Interesting ideas. We will write it down.
Maybe something for Albino 3.1
Anyhow later this year we plan an update with new presets. That will happen anyhow.
First I have to finish now my DVD project in which I use also Albino of course, but also hardware synths, old synths and other softsynths

Gee, I can't believe nobody mentioned the GUI and colour combos, unless I missed it when I perused through this thread. The soun/tone is FAB; the GUI took a GIANT step backwards from the version one GUI that I upgraded from. V3 reminds me of the old IBM monochrome monitors, man- very hard on the eyes, particularly with red/pink on a starch white background.
It's such a great synth, yet it's so friggin' ugly now, it's hard to look at- no kidding. There are dozens of SE/SM synths that look better than this. However, the Albino sounds better than all of them. What's the gaffe?
Suggestions: get rid of the all starch white background (v1 used shades of grey, which were better looking and easier on the eyes); use more colours. Perhaps, it's time for skins?
Albino 3 is a paradox to me. When I upgraded and saw what I was presented with, I thought I downgraded...maximum drag! This is a great synth, man. It's probably the flagship. So, please put some time into the presentation quality. FYI: I upgraded without checking the demo, because I trust LinPlug- they make some of the best synths on the market. However, I will always check them first, before upgrading, after this experience. (All this for a $%^# arpeggiator

I have a strong feeling of deja vu. Man nobody will make it look like Nexus you can forget about it. Besides you said it yourself.
Meaning that everyone is cool with it. Also I was wondering how do you think Albino looks like? There is a red thin line you know.G&L_player wrote:Gee, I can't believe nobody mentioned the GUI and colour combos

...I really like the GUI and it doesn't differ so much from v.2 colourwise except that it looks much better (v.1 may be another thing, though). I really like the idea of reflecting the synth's name in its GUI. However, now that I think about it, I can't understand why it has been named after a dysfunction of the creation of pigments, since Albino doesn't sound colourless after all...

I'm not. When I went from v1 to v3, it was like going from a color monitor to an old monochrome. In addition, the red on white is hard on the eyes. In fact, the Delta III was probably the best looking in the bunch.chaoticz wrote:I have a strong feeling of deja vu. Man nobody will make it look like Nexus you can forget about it. No worries. There are plenty of soft synths out there these days. (There weren't as many when Albino v1 came out.) One doesn't have to be stuck on any particular one, especially if one already has a few of these and those.
I'm glad you're happy with it, though.

The only problem I have with albino is, believe it or not, finding the right sound amongst the billion or so patches I now have for albino. It's a good problem to have, don't get me wrong, but I spend quite a bit of time on sound selection. If there was a way of indexing the sounds, it would help. For instance, maybe could allow searches on text associated with each patch -- the string could include keywords such as "dark" or "pad" or "arp" or "jupiter". It doesn't have to be a complicated search mechanism -- something simple will do. As more and more patches appear in albino, finding the right patch will become more and more of an issue.
