Wow, this is a true experience playing the Taurus.
Those basses I can make with this are truly the baddest I've ever heard.
And with a GUI, finally it's a pleasure and inspiration.

Beta 4 is out, WITH GUI http://antti.smartelectronix.com/#taurus

Cutoff range has been lowered, if you have automated cutoff in old projects, add 0.1 to all values. Old patches will work as before.

It's not often I have hardware left to compair but here's my old BassAce Taurus clone. Actually it's a Taurus VCO/VCF and TB envelope generator.

For your entertainment...Open mic, midi demo. About 8 years ago. It rattled the windows.

on the subject of GUI - some have expressed thier disdain for "fancy GUI's", and said that the generic works fine; the implication is that something like this is totally superfluous. However, the way I see it is that it depends on how good your host's generic vst gui is; for some, it is a pain trying to see which control is which, and others need a scroll bar.
If your host has a very good generic gui, ( i like the one Orion Platinum uses, but I don't have that ) then fine. But for me, this GUI will make it much nicer to use, because i know exactly where everything is, it is clear and well laid out. That is what makes a good GUI worth having, IMHO.

The GUI looks great. People complaining in this thread about it should look at their own bloated GUI's shelling devices that are invariably worth less per each pixel they consume..
