No problem, xander, take one of my pedals and solved !

Strange ! The last days I was also thinking of using a wah.

Is the failure hardware or electronic ?
Until now, few broken thing I couldn't repair... 8)

Handy Max... .. . :P

PS : aren't your feet a little too big ? :hihi: I'm pretty sure that if your wife should have used the wah, it wouldn't have been broken !

Do you happen to have an old Vox Clyde McCoy model on a dusty shelf somewhere?

The *stanchion* (I think it's called) that supports the peal axle is broken and it's made of some kind of cast aluminium or sommat.

Yeah -- my feet aren't that big, but my boots are :|

But my wife is too tiny to even make the pedal move at all... :hihi:

Cheers,
Wahlex :(

A very good idea: a prize for the most hm!
I'm sad too, as Max' before, my external harddisc has given up working this morning and I (the most stupid git in the world :dog: :x ) haven't done some backup for a while.....self-made patches and reason-combinators may be adios  ). I could hit me with some mighty drum-stick!

xander, if you'd lived here, you'd be pedaling again in moment. Just make away the old support and put on a new and better one ! Or putting whole the inside of the old Vox in some new pedal (just nearly anything that looks like a pedal could be of use). 8)

It also pisses off the people, not knowing how you get a wah sound out of a sewing machine pedal. :hihi:

Mellowhine, since I fixed my external HD problem I've got a big mouth on the subject.
I'll come over soon, with my hammer to take a look at yours; you have a scanner, haven't ya ?
Remember I've got still somebody with the name of Mike here longing for ya. Phone ya later, HD desintegrator.

Max Martillo... .. . :P

Dear Dr. Max,

If I lived there, you and Chris and I would have too much fun and never do anything productive again.

Wait a minute... we don't really do anything productive now do we?

:hihi:

Good idea -- I'll check the scrap box at the local music store and see if they have any old Vox pedals that I can rob the metal frame out of. The probelm is, most musicians here are so poor (especially including me) that there's usually not much in the box anyway :| I hope it works, because these days I can't even play if my right foot isn't on that wah pedal -- and there's no pedal made that matches that old Vox, no way, no how. :(

Cheers & Thanks for your wonderful thoughts,
Wah-Wah Wahlex

a printable file could be available which should allow a decent print about B5 size.

Indeed Knockers! :)

And it could somehow be PDF-protected/Watermarked for authenticity (I think). :D

Funny though -- Our new Prez is kinda acting like Bush -- he ain't saying much so far (even when he speaks)

(Reuters/API)...xander's body was found in a nearby ditch today -- the obvious victim of political revenge, while witnesses, who are rapidly disappearing in a mysterious manner, say a long, low black caddy oozed by xander's house last night with what appeared to be the sneaky silhouettes of Scoops and GuitarJeff in the back -- yipping and heehawing and trading 32nd notes on mushy-stringed LP Goldtops... :(

I suggest as theme for next month : Requiem for Xander... 8)
Well in the meanwile he hasn't any problems with any waaaah anymoo...

Scoops, what about a party to celebrate your entrance ? (with gogo-girls, please)

Max in the key of E... .. . :P

PS : Spirit of xander, why do you need a wah to sing ?
If you need it on a guitar, put some vocal wah sounds over it afterwards ! Wahwoosh, jeminee josefaat...

Now your saying that my singing is preferable to my guitar playing??!?$#!@&? :x

Of course, you are probably right -- except that both are mediocre at best... :hihi:

My styles are from another (vanishing I think) age... when the biggest problems one might face for an evening's performance might be "Where the heck can we get one of these strange new '9 volt' batteries for my new-style pedal? What happend to '12.5 volt Dry Cells for the valve filaments'? And what's this thing on that new amp called 'EQ' for? WHat the hey is an 'EQ' and who needs such a thing to play? BY the way, where's my brand new Spring Reverb at?"

*AND  "Can you believe there's people making money off of making bottleneck slides and selling them? Doesn't anyone know what to do with their old wine bottles anymore?"

:hihi:

Best,
Ancient Alex

You saved my day: Knockman, Vurt and Laguna Rising (just seen on the first page  )Thank you very much for your votes! :D

Cheers to Barnadine, Knockman, Goldbaker, Patrick9 for the votes, and also to the kind words from Mello and Liqih.

Hey guys....

I like the idea, but sheessh, lemme get my feet wet first will ya

Actually the Prez thingy you mention really isnt a politcal motivation here. It's more closely related the the female thing mentioned before. I guess I've learned to do some selective hearing in this case. Unfortunatley here's me and the wife when I do selective hearing :smack:

And finally..... a mushy stringed Goldtop? Now I cant speak for GJ, but mines a Cinnamon burst with 11-52.

Scoops
I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent
