Apple have bought camel. I am honestly willing to bet my left eyebrow hair on it.
Hope not, depise apple but do love Malus domestica.

fotonote edit...yay just noticed it's my 2k post (something to celebrate in this thread at least)

Is Biomechanoid around? This year I really wanted to get:

Biolabs Absynth Research (Vols.1-3)

Biolabs Absynth Research (Vols.4-6)

Massive Sounds for NI Massive

and also Absynth Starscapes by Tim Conrardy

I don't see why they couldn't still sell them. I hope they won't mind if I acquire them by the means that are necessary. :borg:

You believe wrong. Core Audio (as well as Core MIDI) was very much the work of Doug Wyatt (who once worked for Opcode) with the cooperation of MOTU, and created way before Emagic was bought (first OS version to include Core MIDI and Core Audio was 10.2)
Actually, I was surprised when Apple announced they would buy Emagic, because I always thought that, if some music company was to be bought, it would be MOTU.

Why do you think Biomechanoid wouldnt mind if you pirate his products?

This thread has inspired me to spend some time with Alchemy today. All I can say is it would be a crime to let this beast of a synth slip into obscurity and I just don't see Ben and Co. letting that happen.

I really don't know why people think Apple as the most likely buyer of Camel Audio. If at the end it's true that this is an acquisition I would think of Native Instruments first. This is usual business for them, they even tried to buy u-he in the past.
