Does this thing offer something that nothing else has? I know that is a bit ambiguous and I am sorry but I cannot think how to word it differently.
Have you tried the demo?

I don't see anything sample based be as alive as this

I bought this thing a few days ago... And it's one of the only synths that really has excited for a very long time.

How many presets in the full version?

Sorry, was answered before.

It also runs fine on my M1 machine but Sculpture remains still king for me, especially when it comes to morph sounds/timbres. I am also not sure if it gets more optimised (if possible), since it use a good amount of CPU so i think i pass for now. The GUI is a mixed bag a bit. But I think this has lots of potential and its a fresh instrument compared to the 100´s version of another analog emulation.
I might end up liking Plasmonic more than Sculpture... but mainly I'll use it more cause I use Bitwig more than Logic. I'm glad to have both and would welcome a few more fresh new physical modeling synths. It is almost unexplored territory compared to standard subtractive.

Plasmonic has much more modulation control. It is incredibly deep! I'm just beginning to explore it.

Yes, sounds great and while there are some good physical modelling synths and so Plasmonic (even with the not such great GUI) is really build for live playing with expression. But still nothing i used yet came close to the wonderful timbre morphing Sculpture can do for me. I am really a sucker for those morphing percussive sounds and strange soundscapes which feels alive and creeps under my skin :D

Great job by Brian.
I thought (and wrote previously in this thread) that Plasmonic would be a wonderful synth, and it's turned out to be just that.
Some happy experimenting / testing by me of its sounds and features will occur in the next few days as I get more familiar with it.

Also, I expect Brian will add to the synth over the coming months: it's clearly something that is a work of passion and art :)

Damn really cool thing, this is impossible to be not grabbed. (btw no any claims about UI too)

I find the Plasmonic GUI rather good. Just the sliders split with fast and slow is a bit confusing but I am getting used to it. Otherwise it is fast and the modulation is so deep.

I've requested a toggle switch that witches all faders from Coarse to Fine to Split (as it is now). If you like that idea wend in your support! And and switch the horizontal Coarse/Fine slider halves to be consistent with vertical.

I prefer this without a switch. Makes things faster as it is...

I don't object to it... but I would just stick to the current method anyway. I want both available.

What I would like is a bit of refinement of the current split. For example, I would like the space instead of 50/50 be maybe 60/40 with coarse being bigger. I would also like some color difference between the two. So for example, the fine area is a different color. Then it will be visually clear.
