it’s an Oberheim OB-E, someone just dropped a screenshot and video link on the Sonic State Discord.

E as in Expander (versus Xpander)? Which was basically a Matrix 12?
Or E as in Eight, as in 8-voice?
EDIT
Photo added. It's the 8 voice. I called that earlier!

looking forward to trying it out and I bet there are some fine presets to play with too. I wonder if there’s any modern stuff added to the engine like MPE/PolyAT?

I really hope we can "quick link" parameters with a modifier so we don't have to mimic each movement 8 times on the hardware. Pretty sure they woulda thought of that right?
But yeah, nice to see a new G-force product in the world. I hope it's excellent with all the modern bells and whistles (resizable GUI, MPE, effects). I also hope the CS-80 is next!

Dave Spiers knows vintage tribute patches.

This looks cool, I like how it looks. I feel like it'll just be a preset machine though, I don't want to adjust 8 voices independently.
Hopefully there's something to address this built in for lazy bones like me, some sort of tuned auto-randomize button or something.

I just went to their youtube to try to find an older video on that synth and saw that they posted that an hour ago, lol.

I am not sure the screenshot is genuine, but the logic in the thinking I think is accurate.
Edit:
oh it isn't faked, it is as the end of the video.
And he says it explicitly.

The little arrows in the bottom right corner of each of the eight voice modules makes me think you get to a focused screen with really fine control over each one.
