Ah i should have phrased that differently, I was speaking hypothetically since I don’t have either, but was considering buying. Didn’t know benefits of getting one over the other. Good to know though about the free upgradeJohnPativens wrote: Thu Feb 03, 2022 4:32 pmIsn't it a free download for anyone who owns Triton VST?Teebacca wrote: Thu Feb 03, 2022 2:35 am Triton extreme worth it if you have triton? Best bet is to buy the full Korg Collection 3, which includes both Tritons, plus plenty of others!Teebacca wrote: Thu Feb 03, 2022 5:22 pmAh i should have phrased that differently, I was speaking hypothetically since I don’t have either, but was considering buying. If you don't have any of them yet, you can redeem a serial for M1 LE (bundled with certain hardware, like the Korg nanoPad2). Then Korg will have an offer for you to upgrade to the entire collection for a decent price, compared with buying them separately.
I got the full collection that way for $199. I think that may have been a special sale price, because the upgrade from M1 LE is now listed at $299. But the Triton by itself is listed at $249.
At the time of the offer I had registered the M1 LE about 2 years prior, but hadn't given it much thought since. Figured the upgrade was worth it! No regrets!

I just purchased the Triton Collection(earlier today, 10 hours to be exact)....downloaded the installer, ran it & was sent the product code....but never received the serial # or the download link.
Korg made no mention on their product page, regarding the time frame in which to receive those items....wtf?? How long does it take....24 hours...days...weeks??

You then have to go into your account and register it if I am not mistaken.

Wow....that was actually a wonderfully simple process( I had never dealt with Korg software before...so I was a bit overwhelmed.)JonSolo wrote: Thu Mar 10, 2022 4:01 am You then have to go into your account and register it if I am not mistaken.

Good news indeed, if true…stash98 wrote: Thu Mar 10, 2022 7:30 pm This may have been mentioned but Korg support told me yesterday a native M1 version of the Triton is coming "soon". So that will be good news.
