yer wish....
an arseload of them.
anybody know how to get a hold of HERCS?
some of it's free, some not, but it's bundled together....so i don't know.
so i went surfin down undah...

http://www.hercsmusicsystems.com/index.html

and immediately went to myself, well, DUH!
so i am contacting Steve J. and asking if we can get permission to share these apparently abandoned synths i uploaded last nite..
but i can't give 'em out til i hear back from our bros down in oz:

Dear Steve,
recently on KVR there has been a thread going about abandoned and no longer developed/antique VST's.
One of the requested things were any of the older HERCs' synths, which i do have...some were demo, some not, i found them some gawdawful hole in the wall (probably winsite, ;)) over a couple years of surfing. i have an early abakos free, as well as classic, Alarm, micro and poly....all very cool synths in my humble opinion!!

anyways, i told the KVR-ists i would gladly share these synths, hosted on my website (without a link there) and linked only to the KVR thread if these were truly abandoned and if i could get in touch with the developers..
and ONLY with their permission.
so here's the humble request...would it be ok to do this?
if so, you would have the gratefulness of much of the audio community, and help us save as many really cool musical instruments/vsts/vsti's from vanishing from the web.
myself and others think your early work would be a very worthy addition, with your permission...sorry if i ramble, not enough coffee yet.
thanks for your time and consideration, and greets from Rockville, home of Gene Pitney (archaic rock star)!
happy new year, too...
peace!

false alarm huh :P?
is it me or there s some voxengos in there i hardly heard of?
Voxengo Radio for instance...
really a timewarp there
jeez kwikkkomp...i think one of the first compressors i EVER had in vst form :P
Peace out

EDIT BTW pinkjimi was it maybe the B3 emu made by soundfonts.it?
theres a beta flying around on a dedicated thread made by ZioKiller for version 2 in case
bro, i got the organ...it was the organized tri, which (duh) i already had....so i dl'd the new version to check out.
;)

the klang synth is REALLY cool, too...

but the radio i have is from dr. tikov:

SOFTRAVE presents
Radio 1.0
created by Dr.Tikov

Resonance controlled by modwheel

---------------------------------
You can listen to my music at:

http://www.besonic.com/drtikov
http://www.realmusic.ru/morespok
---------------------------------

This synth is freeware - you use it by your own risk.
If you make some cd with Radio please send one to me or mention it in your kit list...

unfortunately, i can;t go there, my hosts file blocks ___.ru ...too many hackers and trojans on their for my taste.

if anyone wants this,
i can definitely upload it....it is a WEIRD synth with a gui that looks like one of them push-button old tube radios.
the gui makes it worthy of nabbing alone....

hey yo PinkJimi

Soundfonts.it creations are just plain great...a nice example of how a Synthedit creation can actually sound if in the right hands, with much fun of the SE detractors :P
check his latest delay ..its surprisingly detailed as recreations of the old Roland SpaceEcho machines, honestly in that particular field IMO that one kills lots of much overpriced echodelay units in the vst department..
ubercheap either...i ll surely get hold of it sooner or later..

about Hercs..i just got in touch with Steve HERCs some days ago, as i just jumped in the new year sale for abakos pro, as i stated some posts ago...
you can eventually contact him thru that thread if needed..
ATM im a bit in a hurry so cant take care of it personally, otherwise ill try to make him aware of this thread ASAP

softrave stuff should be online already anyway on the dev's site..
http://www.goodkarma.ru/softrave.htm

in general, guys, id advice for us to try to check if the original site is still online and eventually get in touch with the dev, before posting vsts, as some devs may not have such fun knowing that we are sharing their vst on mirrors, regardless if their license allow that or not..

this thread will stand for long still i think :D
Peace

Etric is still about and still pops up from time to time on this forum. Have you checked with him about distribution? His website is now here if you wish to contact him: http://www.evm.110mb.com/ ;)

Chuck - checked to website - cool stuff - I know he had more synths at one point in time. Some had really evil sounds as I recall. Saw Ultrasonique and others.

Does anyone have microTERA from a ways back when it was free and won KVR contest? I'll bet that one sounds sweet!

I love the old EVM stuff: there are some crackles in some of them, but they have a nice, gretty sound with beautiful interfaces. I have these:
evm arkon
arkon ut
geko en
incubus
impulse one
isotope
mnemonic demo
occam
ultrasonique
micro (microwave?)
protowave 1&2

uncomfirmed:
gnome
placebo
moeibus
isis

maelstrom

boogaloo
prolog
but a number of them are demos. To have the original free copies would be great.
..what goes around comes around..

still seraching my archives...so far 1,049 VSTi's in total...i know i have more!!
damn, this is like dope!
;)

no microterra...
but if i find it...will post
