If you like Aether but you feel it needs a lot of tweaking (as I read in another thread) you may be interested in some Aether presets that were designed by one of our peers Den who shared them with everyone on Gearslutz:
http://www.gearslutz.com/board/new-prod ... 5-a-6.html
He has a really good ear and has made some emulation presets of various devices which everyone seems to love.
To try these, download and unzip them and manually move them to your user folder and restart Aether.
For the location of the "User" presets folder please see the "File Management" section of the manual here:
http://2caudio.com/products/aether/pdf/ ... Manual.pdf
We will also likely add these presets to the factory presets in the next update of Aether...
Den also helped us make some of the presets in the "Aether Integrity Expansion"...

The link from above is not working.
So here is the right one: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/5617874-post165.html
Sound of M7 and Tc and Lexicon is so close to hardware units, unbelievable...

I have a request: could you make the Aether quality parameters VST parameters and incorporate a meta-switch that would allow to either use the current method of handling this OR listen to the parameter settings?
One aggravating thing about the quality settings is that they're system wide, which means that if you use the highest quality settings for a mixdown and forget to set them back, and then you load up a very heavy project in which you ran several instances of Aether at low quality settings because you're close to your system's limits, Aether will load up at its highest settings and bring the system to a crawl and/or cause audible artifacts. If you switch projects often in a day, it gets somewhat aggravating...
Thanks if possible...

FYI there is a nice review of Aether 1.5 in Mix this month (Sept 2010):
2CAudio Aether 1.5 Review | Mix Author Michael Cooper Reviews 2CAudio Aether 1.5 Reverb
2CAudio Aether 1.5 Review | Mix Author Michael Cooper Reviews 2CAudio Aether 1.5 Reverb
I've been a big fan of 2CAudio's Aether algorithmic reverb since its introduction last year. Version 1.5 boasts improved sound quality and terrific new features...
...Aether offers world-class reverb at a great price.

Hi Andrew,
I sent you an e-mail earlier this Morning. I ordered the Complete Preset Bundle for Alchemy but it did not arrive in my Galbanum A/C. I've sent you details of the Transaction.
Thanks,
Dan (Aloysius) Hogan

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.
