P.S. I'm also curious about the installation of AT3 and Ampeg over AT3 Free.

I wish there was something else I wanted other than those two in that price range, not that I'll even be able to purchase anything on the Group Buy, though. :(

If you authorize the serial number for AmpliTube 3, it will supplant AmpliTube 3 FREE. If you have AmpliTube 3 FREE installed, there in no need to install AmpliTube 3 over it. Ampeg SVX will coexist side by side with AmpliTube 3, and all Ampeg SVX models will be made available inside of AmpliTube 3.

If you don't want to use up a serial number for AmpliTube 3 or Ampeg SVX, you can simply register them in your User Area, and then "Restore My Gear" from the Account tab inside the Custom Shop application. This will make all of your gear available inside of AmpliTube 3 FREE.

I'm having problems getting Ampeg SVX to work but it works fine within Amplitube 3. Plus it looks like it's about the same CPU hit but with better quality but it's weird. It detects an input but doesn't output... X-Gear also doesn't work. Fender works fine.

I'm wondering if it's a problem with Reaper because Ampeg worked fine before Reaper 4. I don't know but since they all work under AT3 whatever.

If you contact Tech Support they could probably help you figure out what's going on. It's what they're there for. :wink:

hibidy, you do know Jet City = (Mike) Soldano right?

I thought Jet City was created to be a more refined but more affordable Soldano amp?

I have yet to try one in a store, but I am wondering what the main differences are.
