Good to know that can be done too, thanks! But I wasn't reffering to that. Try to drag Impact into the project. Change the name of the track into kick and then look at the mixer. The name of that track in the mixer remains Impact St 1. I want to know if it's possible to link them. With audio track it works. I think the problem is that when you create an empty instrument track there won't be a track in the mixer so the track and the VSTi are separated.
