hey everyone, could use a bit of help

i got the email, got the torrent links, and got the .dmg and .exe file downloaded, but I dont know what to do from there. I somehow combine the two files?

sounds like youve downloaded the mac and windows installers. you only want to run one of them (depending on your OS. exe = windows)

This is not a free plugin. To download the plugin, you have to advertise Arturia on Facebook (when you "like" their page) and you have to give your personal information to a 3rd party (the Sweepstakes app) From an industry perspective, these things are quantifiable, not free.

That being said, Arturia could have handled this promotion a little better. It's unlikely they were surprised by the site traffic they got from this. Cool plugin, but yeah, there's room for some complaints.
You did not have to use facebook. FB just wasn't overloaded as the Arturia page with the form to send your email to get the code. I didn't take the FB thing because I hate these data mining apps also. Giving just the email to Arturia is a fair trade to get a plugin like that, I think (tough I have a spam account for this things).

This is well stated and I agree. Im waiting on the link still but I reckon it will be worth the slight hassle

you can still get this. but no reg code.

on Arturia's page they list minimoogvoriginal@arturia.com
send an email and they bounce you back the torrent links to download them.

now, maybe you didn't get a code in time, but you can still use this plugin as if it were an OLD old vintage gear with no memory (IE it wont save patches) so you gotta dial in your sounds manually - not hard with the limited programming here. But, you get all 1000 presets and full functionality minus the known back panel restriction

For those moaning about Arturia gift: This thread is at 52 pages, and counting. Considering there is no bad publicity, and all the hype generated, this was a success, no matter the POV you're considering.
Anyway, many thanks to Arturia, and I encourage them to keep working on good synths, and... who knows, maybe you can get us a Matrix-12 emulation now ;-)

i am a bit sad because: even if i finally get the minimoog-v original,
i do not have any activation code :cry:
i send email to Arturia to ask for a code,
but they send me is a link to download (again) the minimoog... :roll:

i use a real one there is a lonnggg time ago when i was a young man, and just listen in demo mode,

i feel my 17 coming back ... almost :)

it is a very nice gift from Arturia,
i have so many nights without sleeping with my first moog ,and with my Prophet VS ...

ah! the good old days 8)

The forum adds a couple spaces to the link - make sure to remove them.

EDIT: Ooops, I thought you were talking about the magnet links. I don't know why the Denis links aren't working.

But still, try the magnet links WOK posted.

Either get the torrent link from them. OR once you get the mail just keep trying the FTP link. I got my mail just a bit ago( I think these are being sent manually and not thru an auto process). and it took about 6 or 7 tries to get the FTP link to fire. its downloading slowly...but it is downloading :)
