I left and have just come back. I run logic, tried getting back into live which I had used since v1 and once again found myself stuck in the session view (which I love) and remembered how much I dislike the arrange view so I downloaded the demo of bitwig again and picked up a license from here at a great price and couldn’t be happier. All the things I loved are back and I can handle the limitations i worried about in the past. This time it’s for the long haul.

I've tried ableton, logic and bitwig and find Bitwig pretty quick and easy and lightweight to use.

Note I'm using it more to JAM with live as opposed to creating a full detailed song.... usually just recording a external instruments which is a lot less complex but is super quick and easy to use for that.

personally still dunno which one I would prefer Bitwig or FLS with FabFilter plugins

both ones are too great

(Fabs have lovely modulation system ) at this moment I'm using FL just because it has better Harmor integration (which I also love

)

I would love to see what fabfilter would do if they ever make a DAW, how all the ideas would be condensed in a single interface.

And what happened to the prolific cat poster “hibidy”?

IIRC after waiting (with his cats) for BWS for the longest time, he then jumped into Reason and vanished...from KVR
