hey Dad, i emailed him and asked if he would share the old ones via this thread...no mailer daemon yet!
this is a classic example of sleuthing...find the page, and backpeddle thru the directories till ya score a hit!
that's where i found most of the ones i got...at this point, not counting the ones i just dl'd, i am up to approximately 1104 synths, 9944/100ths% of them vsti...
crazy...almost 400 more than i had when i found this thread!!

The only problem is that it will take weeks (months?) sifting through all of them to sort the real gems from the garbage.pinkjimiphoton wrote:hey Dad, i emailed him and asked if he would share the old ones via this thread...no mailer daemon yet!

I know..... I've been working on a project like this for quite a while now.

P.S. And because everyone has their own opinion of what's good or not, other people's lists aren't much more than starting points.

amen dat man.
some of the synths i have are so f**king cool they make the cosmos run, but some are REALLY REALLY fuckin BAD...bloody horrible....which sometimes makes them perfect.
one of these days, i'll spend a couple months taking a year or so to go thru the whole thing and try to actually catalog them by type and sounds and usefulness...
awwww, f**k that, who am i kidding, NEVER gonna happen...
lol
but when ya need a cool sound it's great to just blow thru them at random, sometimes ya find the perfect sound by accident.
and i must admit my greatest shame....
playing these things with a fuckin guitar was something i never dreamed of as a kid, and sometimes leaves me slightly.....errr...
tumescent.
i LOVE putting a VST on each string and trying to blow up my computer.

<camera stops in full front of him>
"hello .. i am Dreaddd and i am a VSTaholic"
<camera breaks on large field with the people answering at unison>
"hello Dreaddd!"

nice folks there, too, and they have some different things that aren;t here.
worth checking out even if ya can;t speak german.

two of the 4 available downloads on that [url]http://www3.kcn.ne.jp/~kaitop[chap's/url] are VSTi, one VERY cool, it was really strongly reminiscent of my old micromoog right outta the box...the moog filter seemed well done, if these things even use them things. the others are FX, i haven't tried them yet.dreaddd wrote:agree...pinkjimiphoton wrote:

yah, all the fam over there loves it...last time i tried, they said it was completely unreadable but immensly funny. last time i tries to use it, it refused to even TRY to go english to german, or vice-versa...LOL
BTW PinkJimi im a "normal" member myself there..are you a PremiumMember by any chance?
nope, me neither...i can;t read german so ....i COULD ask Whiteaxxxe or Attula or something..and there is an english speaking thread (also kinda funny sometimes...one thing we all understand is a good beer, and toasts are frequent.
you can go there, use your same username and password.
if yes, is it worthy? what do u think?

dude...they get some really nice software, free...other than that, i don;t know what.
for me on dialup it just isn;t worth the 20 day downloads to get some of the stuff they offer.
but if ya ask Whiteaxxxe, his english is probably better than mine (being a bloody yank and all).
