Question: Is there a way to bulk-add samples to the samples available in StiX? I have RTFMed and read through this post but I don't see an answer. If not... this would kind of be important because if one has a sample library of drum sounds, expecting the user to import each sound one by one is a bit much... I'd not bother doing it and that would be shame as it would be great to bring drum sample libraries into StiX for it's processing. Hopefully there is a way??

You could try : Menu Options (Top right UI) --> Misc --> Import Multiple Wave Filesplexuss wrote:Question: Is there a way to bulk-add samples to the samples available in StiX? Where can I find a 100% (actual size) image of Stix's GUI?
Thanks!

There are three sizes for the GUI ( Menu : Options. You'll need to relaunch StiX after switching to another size) Usually one of the 3 sizes should fit your needs if not perfectly, at least in a good way.SciFiArtMan wrote:Where can I find a 100% (actual size) image of Stix's GUI?

Sorry to hijack this thread... but maybe here's someone who's lusting for StiX for a great price. I gotta let go of mine, although it IS a great plugin.

Agree. That could prove to be usefull indeed. You can use the A/B slots to store & compare different versions of a preset, but it's not the same.zlatan wrote:An Undo / Redo Button would be great (perhaps I missed it).

Hi,
Just spent a couple of days really enjoying StiX.
Can someone let me know if it is possible to open a beat created and saved in StiX later on using StiX multi. I am unable to do this using it as an aax plugin in Pro Tools.
Thanks,
Tony.

StiX Multi's output channels are not configurable, drums can go either
to a master channel, their own outs or both... Thats it, so it really doesn't matter
which version you create the beat with.

Like Pekbro said : Presets are independant of StiX version ( Multi-outputs or Stereo Output version) So you can save a preset in either of the plugin iterations and it will work regardless of the version used in a project.
If this doesnt work work for you under a certain configuration ( OS, DAW, StiX please contact Xils-Lab directly with your system details thru the site contact form, including details (versions of Daw, OS, Stix etc) or just PM me.
Best,
LtZ

Hi,
Also really enjoy Stix, read the manual front to back, and been playing around with it for a week.
One thing though, seems a bit odd or I am doing something wrong (hopefully)
While pressing 'record' in the 'live play' window Stix doesn't seem to record the drums played in, not in the sequencer and not into (in my case) Ableton with midi notes. The latter should be possible according to manual, the first is not specified but I sure hope so this is possible. Has anybody else managed to record their playing into the sequencer?
Also posted this on the official stix forum but they won't let you post messages, so it's awfully quiet there.
Thanks for any help whatsoever

I think you might have forgotten to click the "Record' button inside StiX itself, additionnaly to the host Record function. ( the one located near the virtual Keyboard bottom right of the unit) This button enables StiX Midi output.JohanH211 wrote:Hi,

A complete (22'20'') review of StiX IN SPANISH. If you're a native Spanish speaker, you can't miss it (and the guy, from what I understood, shows very well a lot lot of StiX features in this video, )

Kvr uses massively English, but I think it's good to offer ressources in other languages too, when possible. Especially when they seem to be of a high quality like this one ( And thanks to Hispasonics )

I'm not sure I've seen such a powerful and flexible sequencer in a vst before.
