I get an error that Synthmaster 3 cant create Cloudsync directory.

After that it crashes Ableton on my M3 Mac

I had that issue, and in my case it was a folder permissions problem (the users/shared folder). What I did was to
1. run Disk Utility on my main System drive (which repairs permissions). You may have to do this from your Recovery partition.

2. Then I did the following-
open System Preferences > Sharing. Select File Sharing from the list of services and then right-click on the shared folder (users/shared). You should see an option in the menu to "Apply Permissions to Enclosed Items." Select that option ad confirm your action. The permissions table will turn light gray while the propagation is taking place. Once your entries turn black, you will know that the propagation is complete.

Then when the plugin runs, it is able to create the files it needs in that location.This worked for me. I hope this is helpful.

Had the same error message pop up that Synthmaster can't create all those folders in the Shared directory. I manually created them, did the 'apply permissions to enclosed items' and it is still not validating in Logic. M2 Pro, Sonoma.

EDIT: I had to right-click on the Synthmaster3 folder in Shared and apply permissions there. Then it worked.

EDIT: Here's the fix for this issue, I uploaded a new MacOS setup. This issue affects fresh new installations only. Sorry guys

1. Delete /Users/Shared/SynthMaster3 folder
2. Install latest setup from https://www.synthmaster.com/userarea.aspx
3. Instantiate SynthMaster3 inside your DAW

Hi, sorry for double posting. Don't know which is the actual thread now....

Since Synthmaster 3 is now released, I would love to see (in this particular order):

- NKS2 mapping support and preset NKS2 export
- CLAP support + per-voice modulation via CLAP support
- (already announced) ios version (is android now capable to play audio with low latency, too?)
- This engine inside Renoise

Hi - if I understand correctly the patches for Synthmaster 2 and Synthmaster One are now available as expansion packs that can be installed in Synthmaster 3 without having to install SM2 and SMOne. If this is correct, where are these expansion files located and how do you install them?

Yes, that is correct

All you have to do is:

Click on the preset name on the top header, then click on "restore my preset banks" menu:

Yep. So actually SM3 comes with 3000 factory presets.

I notice there's a Synthmaster Everything bundle available at the moment.
Given 3 is backwards compatible, what does having 1 and 2 add?

They don't add much beyond a simpler interface. But the main value of the Everything bundle is all the preset packs.

I did these steps and now it says error getting file list from the Cloud
