Thanks for the extra reports.

Bass:
Aria Diamond Bass - Pi
Aria Diamond Bass - SlapnPull

What is the problem with this preset? If you mean no LOOP information it is like that, the author of the sample sent me like that so it would feature the actual sound without looping. I guess this could be improved with a loop and a release sample instead, but I don't have time to do this right now. I may do it next month.

Percussion:
Bones
(...)

I can't find those presets.

Guitar:
SAGuitar Mono (6 Strings) (No samples)
SAGuitar Poly Stop-Release (No samples)
SAGuitar Poly (No samples)

Indeed, I have to check what happened with those. Will report soon.

Noise after what shoud be the end of the sample (at least here)

I have them here. But maybe they belong to v7, I don't know. I copied the entire preset folder previously, and then installed WusikStation v9 over it. But they definitely exist, as do the samples.

Regarding missing samples those are not the only ones problematic. I have been finding TONS of them. For example, in Artvera New Age, all the Users presets (the ones done by Tim Conrardy and Daniel) don't find the samples. This was already happening in v7, but there it wasn't a bid deal, because the automatic searching routine was able to quickly find them, and we barely noticed the problem.

Thanks, I can see the noise now. :dog: Thanks again. Please, be patient with me, in all the beta tests I have done no one told me about those things, and I beta tested for months. But that's life..

Please, do you mind sending me the Percussion and also the ArtVera presets? I don't have those here, and the ones I have don't show any missing files. But I will do a search code soon.

William,

I am going to start uploading the last of the files now. I also have a file that has all of the presets, I will upload that as well....

New File!

BETA_16_WIN_Wusik_Station_V9_Engine.zip

Added the Search Missing File code. It works like this, it tries to find a file that has the same parent folder name, so A0S\Guitar will try to find a folder named A0S with Guitar inside. If it doesn't file, it will list all Guitar files instead and ask to select one.

I will address the other stuff soon.

That's because you never had me beta testing to you before

Sure here are the links:

These are the Art Vera New Age User Presets (two folders that were included in Arte Vera New Age). Curiously enough, Daniel uploaded a lot of presets for WusikStation v9 but I couldn't find these. Daniel?

This is the entire Acoustic Collection presets folder. The presets I listed are either in the Ethnic\Percussion folder or in the Percussion folder (I'm not sure which Percussion folder are they, but I think it's mainly the Ethnic\Percussion

The installer still doesn't remember the last used location (for example, I have a sub-folder called Wusik.com inside each of the main folders, where I have been installing all your instruments, and although EVE now remembers that location each time you launch an update, every time I install a new WusikStation version, I have to manually select that folder AGAIN).

Regarding the search function, IT WORKS. I think it will be enough for the majority of the "Missing File" errors. At least I tried in the User folder of New Age, and ot worked. It takes a little longer to load the presets, but they are loaded with the sounds. :tu:

Strange, is the same installer, I will double check the code and see how I'm doing things and see if I'm not missing something somewhere.

I grabbed the presets for NewAge. I am pretty sure they are in the ArtVera NewAge V9 file but I will check later today.....

Sorry, Daniel, you are right. My mistake was because you organized them differently, and instead of folders, they have the category as the initals of the name. Tim presets are there too :tu:

Strange, I just tested here and it remembers. Are you extracting the Wusik Station V9 Installer.exe file and running it just like that name? As it uses the run-time name for the registry.

Haha. I have been renaming the installers with the Beta numbering, to keep pace of what's going on, in case I need to get back to a previous version. OK, I will now keep the simple name for the installer.

 ;-) I use the filename so that way I can have one installer to rule-em-all... :hihi:

fmr wrote: Thu Dec 20, 2018 7:11 pmAnother thing: Volume (Gain): WusikStation, like all your recent instruments, has too much gain. You seem to somehow tried to compensate this in the volumes of the presets, but since the volumes were already very unbalanced in WS v7 (presets were in need of a complete revision in what concerns gains) this change in gain led to things become worse. Loud presets sound even louder, while quieter presets sound even quieter in v9. I suggest you reduce the overall gain, for the moment. I will try to compare some presets from v7 to v9, and check what are the differences in ion volume. Then, you can maybe write some script to change those.
In my hosts they are kinda ok. But I remember that previous V6 or something I added a Volume-Output option to the global options. With stuff like Normal, Low or High. And this is saved globally. Would this be enough?

Cheers, WilliamK
