Well now, with the release of Audiority’s BF-2 emulation and TAL’s JX-8P emulation, I’m done. I don’t need any more plugins. They said it was impossible, but we have finally reached Peak Plugin.
It’s over. Everyone can go home now. Thanks.

I completely agree. Unless there will be released a good Yamaha emu, there are tons of Roland, no need to buy any synth in future any more.jamcat wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2026 2:15 pm Well now, with the release of Audiority’s BF-2 emulation and TAL’s JX-8P emulation, I’m done. No comps, reverbs, delays, saturators, eqs needed any more as well. BF-2 Audiotiry was the peak indeed , I don't expect anything any more and don't intend to buy more.

So first off...if anyone needs comprehension skills it's you as I was agreeing with your statement f**knuts. I was pointing out the the ONLY thing that ultimately matters to a corporation is making money. The "you" was the general you, not you specifically. But I'm sure it made you feel really good to lob the insults vs. rereading what I wrote and trying to understand it in context to your own f**king statement. Good job buddy. You get the gold star for the day.SAGG wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2026 10:24 pm Did you even read the post, you delusional goof? How about your comprehension skills? 2 outta 10 on your best day?
I am talking money. I'm talking they are losing money to other vendors who are releasing most requested Roland synths instead of them and cashing in where Roland Cloud could and should have capitalized themselves.
And that happens while the company stonewaller admits all these synths are the most requested from RC customers. So people are telling them in clear language give us what we want, we're gonna pay you for it, yet the receiving end somehow fails to grasp. "Shareholder value" my ass. They give people CR-78 nonsense instead of what they really crave and would be most willing to part with their money in exchange of.
There is no way in hell Arturia should have beaten Roland to JP-8000 plugin and capitalized on that instead of Roland. It really doesn't make any sense. What's delusional is this actually happened. So no, somehow they don't get this "these are our synths, our legacy, lets make the most of it" part right at all.
With little effort you'd even understand some of this, however, your reading comprehension issues are not my problem, bubba. Go see a doc, let him examine if your brain is beyond saving, which is a probable cause of you doing you right now![]()

Is anyone else getting authorization problems since updating to the latest macos? I'm signed in to Roland Cloud just fine but can't load the instruments as it says can't authorize on roland cloud or something.
God I hate this stupid Roland cloud authorization. Love the sound of the plugins but hate this platform with a passion.

Ugh. System restart fixed it. Sometimes Roland Cloud just won't work until you restart you're computer for some reason I guess. But again, this does not happen with any other authorization systems.

Still rather confused by Zenology Pro - is it basically a semi modular synth built from models of their older synths and filters (and fx)? (bit like a Roland Diva?) So could you recreate something like a D-50 with it? Does it have elements of the V-Synth?

It's a digital synth engine, which can use samples or VA stuff. It's basically a later revision of their earlier rompler engines. The Zencore engine is the synth engine in most of Roland's current digital hardware. It has many samples internally from things like the XV series, and you can get expansions which contain more samples and presets (eg, all the SRX expansion content).aMUSEd wrote: Sat May 02, 2026 9:26 pm Still rather confused by Zenology Pro - is it basically a semi modular synth built from models of their older synths and filters (and fx)? It's not really a semi-modular synth.
