Why did they capture them on tape, rather than a clean capture? It's already a dark reverb, why colour it further artificially?
Equally I'd prefer it if the IRs were labelled according to the lever settings rather than names such as Short Sax Plate 1.
Ideally I'm looking for something more comprehensive.

There are some free EMT250 IRs here. That's all I got.

Maybe use their trial version and capture some of the presets. I guess you would need to capture them as dual-stereo / quad wav files to capture the full dimension of the ambience.

Thanks a lot for creating this library!PierceMusic wrote: Sat Jul 26, 2025 8:26 pm Hello. I've updated my impulse response library today for the first time in over a year (which has already been previously shared in this thread).
https://github.com/itsmusician/IR-Library
It adds around 250 new IRs, includes many changes to the category system, adds a reference page, and some other things. There is a very thorough changelog included.
Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed using these and shared them thus far. I hope to continue to improve this library and am always happy to take suggestions.

Anyone manage to snag these before they went down? I've tried archive but most of the ones I'm looking for don't seem to have working captures.4kHz026 wrote: Fri Oct 21, 2022 4:18 am Hi there folks, I've managed to find a few PA & small speaker as well as IR of different room/space from this website that some of you may found useful! Yes, I was able to find and download all (or at least most) of the Angelo Farina IRs from the University of Parma. I can't remember where from now, but I have a dropbox folder I can share (as soon as my links become active for having more than 5 posts !)

Here is the Angelo Farina (RIP) IR collection from the University of Parma:

Some, possibly all, of the files are also here, though I'm not sure how long this site will be maintained after Prof. Farina's passing in March 2025: https://www.angelofarina.it/Public/IMP-RESP/

I believe these are the company's proprietary format for their software to load.Wanted7 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 3:45 pm Bricasti M7. Updated IRs :
