Maybe this has already been posted here but i don't have time to read all posts :oops: so many thanks for thoses who compile this:


1. i need bigger mixer (with a nice meter in db and the choice between Peak and RMS like Soundforge)

2. i need the ability to name a channel mixer (with stickers like Reason)

3. i need to know what delay is induce by a plugin
(like Pro Tools)

4. i need support for Waves plugins

5. i need count-in before rec

I want the option of a mixer channel strip on every channel, with an eq, compessor and gate (sidechainable of course). Along with a suite of general FX; distortion, delay, reverb, limiter etc, all better than Waves in simple usability and quality.
Extremely advanced midi editing features that include all functions found in traditional sequencers, only improved in ease of use.

Oh, and to be able to zoom out a bit more in the sequencer would be nice. :roll:


Maybe after the next couple of updates eh Jorgen?

You can already insert EQs and compressors beetween the vst, audio comp... and the mixer channel (EXT is modular 8) ).
I think it would be easier to overview what inserts you have used if you could add INSERTS in the mixer comp the same way you can add sends.
Maybe this could be the answer to your wish.

I'd like to see the envelope component updated to get the same "curve" type shapes as the envelopes in the sequencer component please.

Just bought XT and I'm more than satisfied.... :D

BUT.... why didn't work the "paste"-function when you want to rename something or give in a folder-adress :?:

I've realised earlier that some programs didn't list folders with Icons (e.g. "manipulated" with microangelo (yes, I like icons..... :oops: )), but so far you've had always the possibility to copy and paste the name of the directory.

Giving up this in XT I want to type in the name manualy and found out that I'm not able to type " \ " !!! (which is quite essential for a folderadress.... :D ) > Is the german keyboardlayout to blame ? :(

Right-Click in Main Window >> Options >> Open >> select folder where the .GUI files are located and select the .GUI file you would like to load...

Another method: just drag the .GUI file from Windows Explorer into the Main Window of energyXT...

Yeah, copy, select, cut, paste, shift-home (select), keyboard navigation (up,down,left,right) in list boxes, etc., are all needed one day. Kind of weird they dont work.

Another thing that would be nice would be if Options->Open remembered the last folder you were in. Or maybe that's a limitation with the demo (but the other windows that use the default path work, so I dont think so).

Or what about a favorite folders kind of setup or preferences; Sample directories, song directories, etc. that works on all dialogs? Similar to the VST Folders option, but for the other ones.

Mute or Disable or Solo on the comps (vsts/sampler) in Main view would also be a nice feature.
