Thanks I will give that a try, I had read that thread linked before asking but I wasn't sure whether it got rid of the midi information on the original track, unlike bounce which keeps it intact and just mutes the track

Okay transform seems to do what I need, I guess I just transform back to instrument whenever I want to make corrections to midi or to make the sample longer etc ?

The release notes on page one have been updated to include the direct link to the .png images in full view so you can view them on any device you may be using such as internet capable TV's, other mobile devices or as an alternative to saving the image files to view offline vie computer based devices.

. (You can view in normal size or zoomed size when tapping on the image)

I might pick one of these up in the future if I see one second hand like I did with my Akai LPD8 that I picked up for £15 at cash converters... so for anyone at least a bit curious and interested in seeing how it integrates into Studio One, this video should be quite interesting.

I have one and it does NOT replace my M-audio Trigger Finger ... 1. You can't customize the notes on the pads 2. It's rather small in size kinda cramped in a sense , but not a deal breaker ... It's basically and ImpactXT controller . I still use the mouse and not the knobs and buttons on the thing but im not one to remember keyboard shortcuts either .

Studio One color;'s are all fck'd up on my machine, there used to be a dark brown color, now there's not.. Bug I EVEN HAVE the brown color set for all my bass channels, from an early version., but now when trying to select dark brown, it's not available.. good job presonus..smh

If you are on Windows, you should check out this colour changing utility here. I increased the default 10 or so colour profiles to over 400 to choose from.

What do you mean by customizing notes on the pads?

On the M-AUDIO Trigger finger I can select 16 different notes for it's 16 pads ...YOUR OWN Layout ... .... On the Presonus Atom you have factory preset banks ... You can't lay the notes out on the pads YOUR way ... So basically it sucks for EZdrummer ..
