At first, I stumbled upon "Of Monsters and Men" thanks to a trailer for an upcoming movie:
But then, after watching random "Freddie Wong" stuff, I found an anime inspired 3D show by RoosterTeeth, called RWBY (or Ruby), which features an interesting, yet loud and agressive J-Rock/Pop oriented soundtrack (written by Jeff Williams feat. Casey Lee Williams):
Or as motion "video" (Opening with lyrics border):
Behind the show is infamous "Monty Oum", who got famous with his game model hacking and the "Dead Fantasy" animations.
Definitely lighened my mood.

Someone on KVR introduced me to J-Pop not long ago and I'm really liking it. Here are the lyrics as I understand them:
My friend's a baker,
we circle through the sky
yo has a flashback,
I be the loving you
It's free to read books,
and we do muses drown
in sins of Facebook
through all eternity
(poster's note: repeat the lyrics over and over, as many times as you like,
and on the last time through the last line changes to "you go and drown me")
"The Law speaks too softly to be heard amid the din of arms." -- Gaius Marius {Roman consul,soldier}

Def Leppard ft. Tim McGraw - Nine Lives
Surprisingly good. I like it!
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.
