I bow to the fast change of demo and GUI. Well done!
(also: i like reading reviews of stuff i even already have bought. Sometimes you learn something new by seeing another persons view. But it better be a critical one and not an advertise pleaser)

Generally I much prefer SOS reviews to the Computer Music 'everything's great' approach.fluxmind wrote:SOS write the best reviews, I'm waiting eagerly for their review of this one
They're always doing thorough reviews, with synth's history and stuff

'Music Tech' is even worse...dexterbella wrote:Generally I much prefer SOS reviews to the Computer Music 'everything's great' approach.fluxmind wrote:SOS write the best reviews, I'm waiting eagerly for their review of this one

SOS is decent. Music tech and computer mag I don't even read, there really is no point. They give you a run down of the features you already knew about, then say it's definitely worth spending your money on. That's it really.
And I am surprised how fast d16 responded to the keyboard hiding. Maybe it was already in the works.
Anyway, It's nice to see a company that actually acts on customer requests.

does anyone here thinks it sounds a bit "thin" compared to other vst's like minimonsta or synthsquad?
Who is this doing this synthetic type of alpha beta psychedelic funkin'?

It was modelled on Roland SH-101 so it should sound just like it.
Minimonsta was modelled on a Minimoog.
Synthsquad is a unique synth collection drawing on many different Analogs.

Our cheeky boys at D16 have done something to the latest Lush demo...the pitch goes all over the place after a while. I'm not sure if I want to laugh or scream blue murder...?!
Also, it appears that the solo buttons for all layers do not work. What's the trick?

this might seem like a simple question however - how do you set it up so that you can link 2 layers so that if you tweak the filter it applies to both? The issue I am having is that with all these layered sounds, when you tweak one of them there are phasing issues - this would be resolved by a link function - I am sure it is there but I can't find it

Anyone getting this to work with Reapers ReaMote? Keeps crashing on me... saying my two versions are not the same date or something. They are.
Sucks, I was hoping to offload it to my other CPU.
I can see why people find the CPU use of LuSH 101 to be unbearable. Shit, my i7 is crawling! Kicked square in the balls by 4 instances.
Please let me know.

Detune each layer very slightly to get rid of phasing and add a more 'organic' sound in the process.Kindred wrote:this might seem like a simple question however - how do you set it up so that you can link 2 layers so that if you tweak the filter it applies to both?
