I think there is a misunderstanding here. The Jup-8 V4 and Stage-73 V2 are not free update for anybody and they are not offered to VCollection 7 owners.fmr wrote: Wed Dec 30, 2020 11:54 amBecause those were not "overhauls", those were UPGRADES. Especially the Jup-8 V, which were completely rewritten. Offering them to V7 users is already being generous.Knoop wrote: Wed Dec 30, 2020 11:45 am I'm asking myself what reason they might have for this restriction. What does the overhaul of those two instruments have to do with V7?
The upgrade price is 29 for each. If you go in the product page and that you are logged you should see the upgrade available.

Hi Kevin,
thank you for clarifying on the matter.
Actually the opposite had been stated by one of your colleague in the Sales support (at least that's how read it).
He wrote:
"As a V Collection 7 owner, you get free benefits from the 8rd version:
- A special 29€/$ price for buying our new Stage-73 and Jup-8 V"
This appeared to me like an exclusive offer of VCollection 7 owners.
That's why I assumed I was excluded from the offer - being a VCollection 6 owner.
Now that you clarified this I looked again and luckily found the upgrade option for Jupiter 8 in "My Products" list.
I'm still missing the upgrade offer for the Stage 73 though.
Could you please give me directions where to look for the offer?
Thank you!

I'm also in "My Products" tab, but there is only an upgrade offer for the full collection. Wouldn't be the first time that I hear about different offers for different people... who know. I'm planning to upgrade the full collection during a sale anyway... not individual plugins now.

I have only ever paid $99 for upgrade of V Collection. I think the upgrade prices seem decent compared to other companies. It all comes down to do you want more of what is included in the collection or not. I skipped V7 and V8 as I am not interested in whats in it. will wait for V9 to see whats in that.

Email from Arturia again saying your introductory offer (from VC7 + OB-Xa) is $149 instead of $299.

Can anybody confirm that the Stage 73 upgrade is available separately in their "My Products" page?
I'm a VCollection 6 owner so I guess according to Kevin I should have the upgrade option available. The upgrade price is 29 for each. If you go in the product page and that you are logged you should see the upgrade available.

I'm a V Collection 7 owner and I do NOT have separate $29 upgrade offers for Jup-8 or Stage-73 in "My Products". There is only the full 7 > 8 for $199 offer.
Maybe you only get separate upgrade offers if at some point you bought a standalone Jup-8 or Stage-73?

I suggest those that are interested solely in the upgrades at $29 to just e-mail Arturia with their request.mountainmaster wrote: Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:50 pm I'm a V Collection 7 owner and I do NOT have separate $29 upgrade offers for Jup-8 or Stage-73 in "My Products". I have upgraded pretty much on each release, except V6 to V7...I waited for the price to drop. This time, the offering from V7 to V8 was more powerful with a fantastic slew of instruments and upgrades.
The price seems fair.

I for one am glad that I didn't get any kind of $29 Jup-V3 to V4 upgrade in my account as a V-Collection 7 owner. If I had, I would've gone for it and then I wouldn't be a happy TAL J-8 owner. Sometimes things just work out.
But if there is a $29 upgrade price for V-Collection7 owners for the Jup-V4 and Stage V2, then Arturia isn't doing themselves any favors by not pushing that out to people's accounts.
