You know, you hit the nail on the head there. I've sat for hours trying to figure out and reverse-engineer and read and experiment and....repeat. It DOES take a lot of time. Then you have to take those sounds and put them into context and THAT takes even MORE time. Then you figure out that that lovely preset you spent hours on just doesn't end up the same in a mix. Bahh more time ;)

i dont think winners have been picked yet.
Urs stated a few pages back that he would be busy today, due to something that kept him awake last night.

So true. I've been mucking about with electronic sounds for over 20 years and I still feel I'm just scratching the surface, particularly with a ridiculously deep synth like zebra...
