But that would deprive them to complain about spamming soundware dealers.zxant wrote:db3 wrote:+1 Embedded soundcloud soundset spamming gets on my tits.Cinebient wrote:I hope i don't see those endless soundcloud pages everywhere![]()

Set your browser to 'noscript' (or equivalent) and you don't see them.
Wouldn´t that be boring?Sampleconstruct wrote:But that would deprive them to complain about spamming soundware dealers.zxant wrote:db3 wrote:+1 Embedded soundcloud soundset spamming gets on my tits.Cinebient wrote:I hope i don't see those endless soundcloud pages everywhere![]()

From Parawave's site FAQ :docam28 wrote:Hi (again) Parawave,
Thanks again for help to activate my account, last afternoon.
I'll plan to buy RAPID Synth, surely next Friday.
I've a question about license: I'm using two computer (desktop Win7 with internet access, and laptop W8.1 offline), both for strict personal usage (of course!). Is it possible to use the same license on both PCs? - are they limitations about license usage? (eg: unlimited for one person).
Many thanks in advance for your reply.
Regards,
Dominique.

Yes, you are allowed to install our products on all your personally owned devices."
I agree> I would've liked to see a way to import my own (homemade and others) wavetables for instance. Luckily with Icarus, Tone2 went another route. I hope Rapid will get a way to do this in the future (and please, not in a €50,- 2.0 update,,,)fluffy_little_something wrote:
Not so sure I like their expansion approach, where one has to pay for new sound building blocks (I am not speaking of presets made from those building blocks, those would be optional). Reminds me a bit of Tone2, unfortunately.

lol that would be a pretty cheap 2.0 from what I have seen from other devs.
That's not true. All planned future updates are free updates. Including the wavetable/sample import, which is already in the planning phase. It's just that the Mac version has a higher priority atm, so the implementation will start after the release with version 1.1.fluffy_little_something wrote:Not so sure I like their expansion approach, where one has to pay for new sound building blocks (I am not speaking of presets made from those building blocks, those would be optional). The extensions on the other hand are normal sound libraries, comparable to known synths soundset. It's just another name, because the "XT Electronic Energy" for example includes not only new presets, but also new wavetables/multisamples and drum samples.
