You could play on the toilet, not that someone would. :D
How's the MOTU, I'm still on the fence. Can't wait for USB4 and very low latency.

Sounds great : WIN 10 & I'm recording 48k @ 64bits with 6.1ms latency round trip - no muss, no fuss
I have not tried practicing while in the bathroom, yet to try it in the back yard turned up to eleven

I'm not sure if this counts as "gear", but I'm currently trying to chase down a US made Reverend Slingshot from the early 00s. I used to sell them at the local music shop, but I didn't have the scratch to buy it and I've been hard pressed to find them since. Yes there a few that pop up on Reverb every now and then but I'm not super into paying $2k for one.

Any other Reverend fans out here?

Especially when they sold new below 1K I loved everything about the Rocco except the feel of the top side against my body. To be honest I liked the early Naylor amps before JTN switched to building guitars.

Is FM lower latency than bluetooth? FM doesn't harm the sound quality?

Heck yeah, you and me both! I would have bought the Slingshot and a Hellhound 1x12 if I'd had the money. One day....one day....

sorry - the Sony's say "RF", not FM. Sound quality is fine other than high freq hiss that's typically found on an FM broadcast(slightly heartening to know that part of my hearing is still intact). Prolly wouldn't mix or master on them but tracking sounds great with no discernable latency.
Cheers

Great for Practice, Improvising, Writing

Practice/Learning
I'm primarily a linnstrumentalist now. The thing is because it's so new and novel there is only one "school" of how to play. And while I like what the guy is doing he approaches it more like an accordion

So I'm writing my path trying to apply piano studies. I hate metronomes but put a solid drum beat behind me and I can work with that.
In the middle of the download right now. Bought the UltraPak so not skimping on styles this time.
I've been running BIAB since 1996. It's also a great tool box for composing/recording.

Improvising/Performing
I haven't performed live with others in 8 years now and I don't think I'm going to get the jazz/blues band back. As much as I enjoy chord/melody guitar stuff it's great to have a "band in a box" over alternatives like Guitar Pro

Writing.
While most of this died when I shifted gears from restaurant work/ working musician back in 2004
I'd often use BIAB to write songs using chord charts and then share with my bandmates. Occassionally we'd actually incorporate my originals into our setlist. It was 85/15 covers originals.

I recently bought the Positive Grid Spark Go. Good investment so far.
