Yeah I remember now, Dropping midi onto RC was such a good suggestion and works really well with the motive generator. I just hope more people will realise the potential of the variation generator and support the idea.

Going back to something you previously said about being able to convert audio to midi I think it's always going to be Melodyne for that as that was something I was into doing for a long time but no matter what software I used I always went back to Melodyne .
Something I bought recently that you might be interested in is being able to convert your voice to midi which is a great time Saver and you can get some really good results.

Well, first of all, I'll clarify a little ..). I suggested not just dragging midi files into the RC, but dragging them into the generators (in particular, into the percussion generator) for automatic conversion after dragging. But that's not the point . I am wondering what program did you buy to convert voice to midi ?
I bought the Imiton program a long time ago, which converts the voice into midi. But I am still not satisfied with the quality of her work. In particular, a huge number of false notes, from which it is still difficult to choose what I was humming into the microphone. And I bought it because the idea itself is great !

This is an absolute game-changer for every producer .Works really well and you have some good adjustments so that you don't get unnecessary notes , it's not cheap but it's definitely worth the money when it comes to getting ideas down especially when you've got a melody in your head and you can't play it on the keyboard you can just hum it.

When it comes to converting drums I just use Ableton but I also have another program that is really powerful by wavedna

Wow! I'm behind the times!)) I will explore the possibilities and maybe buy. You are right - expensive but impressive. And you rightly pointed out that it is very good when you cannot play it. Thank you very much for the information ! And yes, I previously suspected that the result strongly depends on the microphone, and even more so on the configured microphone-program system. Does it really work like that shown in the video? Or is it still embellished? I ask you as a real owner and no longer interested in selling this)

I can definitely recommend this purely because I've used it a lot and I own one myself ,the microphone it comes with is perfect for it other microphones that you can use I wouldn't recommend. I got mine on Black Friday so I got it for 180 so if you want to wait that long you can but to be honest it is worth 250 it's such an amazing tool and the customer service is great too ,the only issue which is not really an issue is that there's a latency of about 1 seconds but that's a simple case of just hitting quantise after .The latency only happens depending if you've got a lot of plugins running at the same time and to be honest if you use a Mac you're not going to have any issues I only find this with PC.

beta 29 - if you have more than one track when you first start RC, then if you double click the scrollbar to the right, all the tracks disappear. If you double click, they don't re-appear either. You can use the track menu to restore though.

In RC 4.2b9, I get the above problematic effect by: a) create a New Composition b) exit RC c) restart RC d) double-click on the vertical scroll bar.

Adding a chord generator and saving the (single) track left me in the same situation after saving, exiting, and reopening.

Adding a 2nd track and putting a chord generator in it and then saving, exiting, and reopening seems to return the behavior to what it should be.

In RC 4.2b9, if I start a New Composition, then right click in the main area to open the Phrase menu, then attempt to Insert 'Chord Generator' at X.X.X the chord generator is not created.

I can insert a chord generator by going to the browser and dragging it in.

  I've tried this several times previously and no matter what order I use in list they still end up being random
  
  Be good if you had an option that says removed once played or even highlights when selected, for instance if you've got hundreds of Phrases and you don't like a certain one you're forever strolling through names trying to find it.

Yes, correct, thank you! It was fixed today.
A new beta version with the fix will be uploaded tomorrow.
I managed to make Studio One display a channel menu for RC VST3, with help from Presonus. This will also be part of tomorrows update.
