Playing around with vcv rack for first time in ages and making some fine sounds, mainly spurred by this vid talking about how to use through zero FM

I experimented with different configurations for transpositions on the LinnStrument's splits, and began a list of MPE preset patches I can use on Surge XT. I also discovered another live music venue in my local area, so I will see if I can visit it sometime soon for more information.
After a few hours of testing, I have the left split's 12 columns an octave lower, with the lights offset by +6, while the right split's 13 columns' lights offset by -6. This keeps the most commonly used octaves exactly in the middle and center of each split using the tritone layout, so I have a reference similar to the "F" and "J" keycaps on a keyboard, but at the cost of slides greater than 12 columns across each split. I have never actually seen or heard of any LinnStrument that has performed such a technique, so I think this cost is insignificant from a practical standpoint.

Had some fun making a drone rock track. Mainly to take my mind off the smell of my pits.
My boiler isn’t working so no hot water until it gets fixed. I can’t face a cold shower yet.

I did a ton of cleaning over the past few days:
- Cleaned my bedroom, bathroom, as well as the internals/externals of both my smartphone and laptop.
- Replaced the WiFi/Bluetooth modem of my smartphone with a different one by disassembling/reassembling it.
- Reflashed/reinstalled my smartphone and laptop's boot firmware, operating system, as well as upgraded most of my smartphone's firmware.
- Configured LUKS on both devices, and separated the two devices' purposes.

Here's a top tugger tip for you.vurt wrote: Sat Jun 24, 2023 11:52 am popped in to have a play, turned around when i realised how hot it is in there, when the sun is directly on the window.
Get one of the large thermal first blanket thingies that they give out to runners etc, e.g;
https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/1655312222
Stick it against the inside of the window. They're thin enough to let much of the light through but reflect 90% of the heat.

im almost directly on the middle of the crossbar of a t section.
is this likely to cause blinded drivers to crash through my front door?
if so i should add a video camera, that would go viral!
