Yep, that was pretty much it. I have no idea how hard that would be to implement on something like Discord, but it something I'd kill to see. Imagine a cool harmonized vocal following along the lead on a chorus to a song, where suddenly the harmonized voice goes from a major 3rd up to an octave down. Seems like it'd be neat. Grant the users the ability to lock to scale, where they just want a straight harmonizer, but also allow them to have all the fun Discord 2 is going to allow for at the same time. Someone would be insane not to purchase that.Crandall1 wrote: I _assume_ you mean what "intelligent harmonizer" is generally take to mean, that is, shifting to definable or preset scales. This would involve pitch detection, which isn't very easy, and is quite processor-intense. If that's not what you mean, let me know.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

Hmm...me thinketh something is very wrong with the Windows version. It seems to install fine, but after the install, windows will lock up. Then if I go to register the program using the Cakewalk VSTadapter Discord2 will not be recognized. Minihost, also says this is an invalid plug-in. Anyway, just a heads up.

I'm sorry that post wasn't about techno, too.
Could you write me privately to info@audiodamage.com with your system information and such? We'll get you sorted out.

----Yeah, the Windows installer has a problem it seems. FL Studio won't recognize it and says it "couldn't be found or opened", and to "check and see if you registered it correctly". No big deal, I look forward to trying it out in an hour or tomorrow, whenever

Well, the problem is that nobody is writing me to tell me what their system is. If you guys don't give me information, I can't solve the problem.
It works fine in FL Studio on both of my PCs, and on Shamann's (who tested it extensively.) Ergo, I need you guys to provide me with some data so I can attempt to recreate the problem here.

----I'm not sure what system specs you need, I'm running a 2400Mhz P4 with WinXP Pro, and trying to open D2 in FL Studio 5. If there is any other information I can provide, let me know.

i am getting the same problem both in ext and in fl6, as well as audiomulch.
maybe i should have uninstalled discord 1.5 first?
windows xp sp2
512mb ram
administrator's rights
cheap onboard soundcard using asio4all
also i did not deactivate my anti-virus software for the installation, as i have never come across a situation were that needed to be done. maybe that might help, though?
i am not used to giving reports, so if you need to know anything else, please do tell.
edit: AMD athlon xp 2400+

It should be able to coexist with Discord 1.5 fine. That is definitely not the problem. I think the issue may be with the installer. Give me half an hour...
EDIT: I think we found it. More in a minute...
