Oh god that sounds great. :)

Yes it is. 8)

Hey OtiumFX, sorry to steer off topic...but I've noticed that the Boxer Vsti has been announced for quite a while now....is that still in the works, or is it a dead project? Just curious. 8)

Well, the demo works fine in EnergyXT, but Nuendo doesn't seem to be able to find it. Odd. BTW: doe the program remember what custom noise file you used when return to your project?
Yes, odd. I've tested Sonitex to work very well in CubaseSX, so it should work in Nuendo as well. Have you tried entering the Plug-in Information window to check if it has been disabled?

Your other question: Yes, the full path to custom wav-files are saved with the project so it is right there as you left it when you return :)
I know you didn't ask for sound examples but I've been working on this little snippet which uses this plug pretty heavily. I think the plug sounds really good, although it can be a CPU killer on my humble little machine...
Sonitex
Sounds cool! 8) The delayed noise gate providing rythmic patterns is one of my own favorite features of Sonitex. It is also quite interesting when using percussion loops as a custom wav-file (same tempo as the project and the Sync button on).

Yes, that's a good question :) The development of The Boxer is currently on hold. Other projects were given higher priority, and now I am a bit unsure whether the world needs another drum-rompler. So I guess it is still to be decided what's to be of The Boxer.

Thanks Rune. :)

As for the Nuendo problems...I downloaded the demo and it shows up, loads, and sounds beautiful from within Nuendo...not having any problems with it at all.

I'm really warming up to this plugin after some initial confusion. After giving it a good run in a Trip-Hop-style project, it really adds that "been-around-the-block" sound too hand-made loops. I found myself EQ'ing a drumloop to counteract some of its 70's-ness, then realized, "Hey! I did that!". :D

I'll be picking this sucker up shortly.

Weird. I will look into it more. But I'd still like to know if you can control the parameters throuogh MIDI.

That I haven't tried yet....I'll post up later tonight on that matter. :)

All main parameters and also most "sub"-parameters are available for automation. So yes, you can.

Through MIDI? If so, how?

So, any news on this one? I still didn't figure it out ...

I may have been too fast with my reply. If your question is if there are CC controller assigned to any parameters, then the answer is no. But that is certainly something that could be implemented for v.1.1.

To get the kind of dirt and grit in my tracks I always used camelphat3.x and was pretty happy with it until I tried this sonitex plug-in. loved the noise section. had my stuff sounding like old breakbeats in no time. then when I used it in conjunction with camelphat, it was a marriage made in heaven for me. can't wait to try our the compadre plug-in.
