hmm... how strange. I tried to reproduce the situation with a new clean project and there works perfectly.
So it's only happening to me in one project, a bit extreme currently regarding processing and routing paths (fortunately I'm about to finish it..) I tried inserting Normalizer by digitalfishphones before but the problem persists.
I'll write to you docdued if I find any more clue.. it happens to me in VSTi channels and group channels as well. Fortunately only some frights and no major damage :) , I'll work with it with caution.

More findings, that i'll post here finally:

- Disabling the IIEQ insert that caused the burst actually "transferred the problem" to another track with IIEQ :?:
It has happened in every channel type now: VSTi channels, group channels, and also audio channels.

- I've realized that it's not really a "noise burst", but a single overloading spike (short duration) what it's produced in the channel -and then the channel will overload for a while. The noise, and subsequent overloading of the main bus was caused by a reverb return that the channel was using. If the channel has no send reverbs, then the scare is shorter :)

- The plug-in Normalizer from digitalfishphones solved the problem. This time I just followed its instructions :hihi: putting Normalizer in first channel slot and IIEQ the second. So it seems a denormals problem? I use an Intel processor BTW :x

Let me know if you need further explanation/tests (sorry for my English..), here or privately, I really love this plug-in and i'd be glad if this was any help.

Could you please download the plugin again and check whether it is fixed now? I raised the denormalization noise floor a bit...

FIXED!! :)
But, there seems to be some incompatibility with the old version. If I simply replace the dll, cubase leaves the slots blank in the project (in fact, IIEQ only appears in one channel, but with a greyed out GUI). I had to rename the new dll and open preset files with the old settings, that did the trick for now.

What the ...? Okay, I did a complete rebuild now, maybe that does the trick. You seem to have a sensitive setup :-)

Docdued, It appears that you are making changes to IIEQ, however, the version on the site stays the same. Am I dowloading it from the right location http://ddmf.eu/IIEQ.htm?

This was the good one!! :tu: Not a problem so far.
I seem to have this "perfect betatester" setup lol, so if you need testers in any further project you can count on me.
Keep up the good work.

Yes, you do... probably I should increase the version number with each change but so far I've been waiting until three or four changes had been made and then "officially" updated the version. Will increase to 1.12 though when I'm back from work...

if u right click the dll ---> choose properties, the modified date will be different to the previous version.
