i direct these comments to 'overdose' , and 'fanfarecircuit' ...

please don't take this as being condescending ...
you are both (relative) newcomers to this board ...
perhaps you have lurked here , for years ...
i have no way of knowing ...

ew has been a member of this board for years ...
you would have to search far , and wide , to find another person who has been as unstinting with his time , and willingness to help others ...

he has years of knowledge , and experience , which he shares here ...
the members he has assisted through problems number in the hundreds ...

he was a respected member of this board , long before he became a moderator , for the NI support forum ...
do you suppose they drew his name out of a hat ?...

i really couldn't care less. within this thread, i believe he is wrong. everyone makes mistakes and that's okay. let's not try to defend the mistakes. that's why george bush is still president of my once great country.

it's pointless to restate what i've already said. read the thread. if native instruments has an interest in what their moderators do with their authority, they'll read it too.

83 posts...i'll be legit soon. :hihi:

nowhere did i suggest that you were not legit ...
be like that , if you please ...
i thought i was being polite ...

i read your opinion ...
please feel free to share it w/ NI ...

my opinion is that 'sinmad' would be trying to run a cracked version of kore ,
if it wasn't tied to hardware ...
that fact that he can't run a cracked version of kore is the only reason he bought it ...
nothing in his posts suggests otherwise ...

but , that's just my opinion ...

there are a bunch of siths on this forum... neither your opinion nor mine mean anything. i'm not going to conclude this guy would not have bought kore, if he didn't need to. how can you? how is it your business? as overdose already said: effective copy protection needs no cheerleading. watch your fascist tendencies.

that's your opinion, i gived mine and as you can see i disagree with you and with ew, that's what we were talking about, that's what an argument is all about, make a claim and try to prove it, but then you jump in and mix post count and coolness with the whole thing, so now what?..does the fact that you've known ew for a long time and you like him, makes me uncapable of expressing myself and being able to have an objectibe point of view? and should the fact that we don't know eachother stop me from participating in an argument or make my opinions less valid?, or what exactly was the point of your emotional and cute review about ew?, i'm cool some times too, you know?

You know, it's really funny. If anybody else had posted this (like the infamous JP22 thread, for example), people would have said "yeah, right" and moved on. Because of the fact that I'm a mod of the forum in question, some people are drawn to arguing ethics. Double standards here, anyone?

@ fanfarecircuit- I may call people idiots, but I'd NEVER call one a fascist. Another double standard?

@ OverDose- your post before your last was spot on. Yes, we're human; we get pissed off, etc. just like anybody else. Is that a crime?

i've suggested nothing of the sort ...
i encourage you to voice your opinion(s) ...

i specifically asked that you not take my comments as being condescending ... they were certainly not meant to be ...

emotional ?... hardly ...
i point out ews' history on this board , as a marker ...
you will have your chance , to make your own history here ...

What happens when the NI app makes a mistake? it is bound to happen.

Here is my little NI story. I bought the absynth tutorial DVD. It absolutly will NOT play on my main computer, because of some crazy ass copy protection thing. Go ahead and do a search for it at NI, it happens with some people.

Anyway it works fine on my other computer, but for me at least copy protection on my absynth tutorial DVD has put me out a bit.

I have never had a problem with NI's C/R type of registration, I like it alot. It is easy, gives you 30 days to register, and has never screwed me up. NI is also awesome at transfering licenses. For all that I give the kudo's.

well ew and normal, i'm out of this thread now, it's quite weird to argue with you guys, now i'm being acussed of having double standards, when even you (ew) accepted that you got pissed off, so how can you expect to run a civilized forum when even moderators insult users?, and why is it that if i question the way you aproached the situation (after you started a thread about it), i have to read about how cool you really are or being acussed of having double standars?

i called you (ew) an idiot at some point, not directly and more in a playing sense, but i apologize non the less, i really wanted to know your point of view and talk about the situation, for me arguing and fighting are not the same thing, and i won't play along and offer insults instead of opinions nor will tell you the story of my life to make my points valid.

could you please explain to me why it's better to be an idiot rather than a fascist? also, why a fascist can't be an idiot and why an idiot can't be a fascist? and why fascists are better protected by native instrument's copy protection? and also, why idiots can't question native instrument's copy protection? or can they? if they accept the fascist nature of untrained moderators...i'm completely confused. :help:
