I just get static from the non-realtime render as well. Nothing at all like the examples from others that I've heard so far.beej wrote:Just tried it on OSX 10.3.9 - I could recreate your bug report - doesn't work using the play button, but the render function works. Gives *really* interesting results too... very nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicccccccccccccccccccccccccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....................

Now, one thing that would be way cool would be the possibility to record the stretch cursor and the freeze button when rendering a file... playing real-time with those 2 parameters allows one to literally paint the soundscape and brings all the fun.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

This thing really does sound fantastic. Cheers to the developer.
I'm having trouble getting the rendering function to behave properly, however. Maybe I'm just being dumb, but it seems to do one of two things when I choose to render a portion:
1) renders the correct chunk, but at 1x speed, rather than at the strech properties I was just auditioning
or
2) Nothing at all
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
