Hopefully your skin for xhip will be this tasty. :)

Unless you already finished it , an I missed it. :?

And if your felling ambitious, Voyager need a new skin BADLY.

If you are lucky someone else might post it before me ;)

Edit: Have you tried the link on the first page again, it works for me right now?
Indeed does work!
I tried multiple links from speedy share, maybe I mixed them up. This onw does work after trying again now :) Thanks a lot! Oh and.. xhip skin... sounds great! Go for it!

My issue with the Xhip skin is the coding part, I'm not a coder so i cannot do much with it. Maybe some basic rearrangements but that's it.
I don't think it's possible to reskin Voyager, I would love to sometime but since the coder is not here anymore I don't think it can happen.

You can use Assesca's mGUI to re-skin it.

someone made a tabbed skin for it (with mGUI) which helps but, nothing like you did for Oatmeal. It's at the bottom of this page:

The really sweet skin at the top of the page I can't figure out how get it to work. :? But you see it IS totally re-skinnable. If you wanna take a crack at it I'm sure ppl (inluding me) would appreciate it.

Anyways, thx for all your work on Oatmeal. Later. :)

uhm I going to have to try that with mGUI...the voyager thing looks a good idea as well but that is alot of knobs to deal with  :-o .

Wow, that skin for Oatmeal is gorgeous!

IMO that skin for Voyager is hideous. Voyager may not be pretty but it is laid out very logically and is one of the most usable synthesizers of its versatility. IMO an ideal GUI for it would not break it layout too much while making it easier to look at overall.

Since we're talking about things that need skins, scanned synth really needs a clean, usable, one page skin. If any of you skin guys are up for it, it's a 'png and xml script' style GUI engine. I'll even help with the xml if you need it.

ps: still rockin' this oatmeal skin.

ScannedSynth is skinnable?, I never tried that one since the gui looks confusing ( I had the CM version but that wasn't any better )
I might check it out since that synth has a pretty good price right now ;)

It certainly is! I was gonna put together a simple functional one pager for it, but I'm no graphics guy and it would have been fugly. A limeflavour skin for it would be truly awesome.

Edit, posted the scannedsynth pre-gui in this thread instead:

never mind... :)

I've uploaded a fix for this skin, thanks to Yeager who actually located and fixed the bug. :)

The fix is now that when you dial the knobs in the arpeggiator/stepsequencer they respond (lock to) semitones, if you don't want this the old version is still available in the first post.

excellent oatmeal skin ... thank a lot :)

Limeflavour,

what a beautiful skin, outstanding! made me dig out oatmeal again.

I hope you're doing things like that for earning money at some other place!

Thanks Thoshu!
This is just a small hobby of mine so there's no money involved at all, all my graphics works are free.
