Ingo, i'm sure a lot of people are grateful here for what you're doing, but you're really over the top sometimes with that "I'm close to the developers" thing. I mean, you didn't mention that one time towards Doc Brown now, but several times. And i read it every day, several times. Honestly, i don't think there's any frequent KVR forums reader who doesn't know it by now, and who doesn't know your extensive list of hardware and software synths either. Just saying, a bit less is more.Ingonator wrote: actually i am a long time tester (+ sound designer) for them and was also working for them from time to time for certain projects (last time at the NKS updates where also my own 64 patches bank was finally included with PPG Wave 2.V from Waldorf Edition 2). I got multiple ways to contact Waldorf if really necessary.

Well, while i am not paid by Waldorf to be the official support guy at KVR even if it felt a bit like that in the past (and i could also not handle all kinds of requests) i am the closest to that you could find here...
If you are not able to reach offical support for certain reasons and if i think it is really necessary i could forward certain stuff to Walopdrf if i think it is really necessary (also based on my own tests).
BTW often people complain that they could not reach Waldorf support on weekend which is also not likely as they usually are in office at normal working days. If the support guys also do work at home at the weeend or at the evening on normal working days is another story but nothing you could 100% rely on.

Yeah, and that's great, especially when the official support seems a bit unresponsive. I'm sure Doc Brown got it the first time you mentioned it though.
No offense intended.

Still Blofeld.

I've still got two Blofeld desktops as well as Largo. I'll be updating to Largo 2.
The main thing I'd like to see added to Largo is the ability to assign the W, X, Y, and Z modulators.
They're listed as mod sources in Largo, but there's no way to define which CC's they should use, as you can do with the Blofeld.

Out of interest: What are you using those for?felis wrote: Mon Oct 30, 2023 7:14 pm The main thing I'd like to see added to Largo is the ability to assign the W, X, Y, and Z modulators.

You can assign CC's to them and then use them in the mod matrix.
So, basically just extra mod sources. If you have a board with sliders or pedals or an x/y pad or whatever, you can use those instead of env.'s, lfo's, or the other listed sources to control any destination.
Maybe it's just a holdover from the days before midi learn, when things had fixed CC numbers.
A lot of progress has been made in softsynths and controllers since Largo first came out.
As it is now, those are just cluttering up the mod source list.
They probably could just be removed.
Largo 2 CC numbers are listed on pages 87 to 90 of the manual, and are also displayed in the box in the upper right corner when you hover over something that has a CC number.
