It'll never happen, as I've stated on numerous occasions. And, if you don't believe me, you can read Thomas's post here:
http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... 771&page=3

I'll quote the relevant part:
Thomas @ NI wrote: Plugin export in Reaktor - I think it has been mentioned several times that this will not happen. It would effectively mean to make all existing ensembles available for free to anyone, so it would greatly reduce the motivation to own Reaktor. It would not only make Reaktor financially totally unsustainable, but it would also reduce the "build-enabled" userbase of people that modify ensembles or create new ones. This feature request should really be put to rest.

Host, not export

Thanks for catching that.

I just wanted to do a quick test of the new version. This "quick test" slowly turns into a full featured ensemble. I just can't stop, version 5.5 is just to much fun :help:

Here is a screenshot (I love the new controls):

I've done everything with primary level modules and core cells, no macros (except the reverb, which is a slightly modified version of micro verb).

Sorry for spamming around. I just had to share this with someone :hihi:

Cheers

Patches/Snapshots (and a Bank I made to store them in) I made in Lazerbass yesterday are nowhere to be seen today...

Try again. If it happens again, congrats; the point of a beta is to find bugs.

You saved the ensemble- correct? You'll then have two copies of Lazerbass unless you specifically browsed to the factory folder and overwrote the first one. Any saved ensembles go by default into the user content location.

I'm betting you're opening the wrong copy...

Nobody has mentioned the documentation....it looks very good - there are tons of tutorials...it looks like it was written by one guy. The Getting Started and Application docs are very good and Stephan Schmitt says there is another manual coming on the modules. Now, it will have tutorials almost as good as Max. Great!

I know others said I'm wrong...but this is a precursor for a big Reaktor 6 release in a few months (remember Kontat 3.5, then Kontakt 4 came out a few months later...) It is inconceivable that NI won't release R6 fairly soon after this (but you'll have to pay :hihi: )

but you clearly dont get what it was they were referring to.

yes, we all get that bit
in a few months
possibly.

however you've missed out most of the rest of the supposition from the last time. the bits people actually were saying were wrong.

and yet the 5.5 upgrade is completely free. seems like an almost foolish (from a business perspective) level of doting on loyal customers who mostly haven't paid NI for reaktor since they bought it back in 2005.

in other words, i can't believe that people are complaining that ni is being somehow disloyal by giving away products for free. but that might be because i don't have EI I or II and i'm pretty excited to be getting them gratis.
some people just need to piss in the soup ...
next time , don't buy anything ...
just wait around , for some odd years ...
maybe you'll get lucky ...
Why did my post get twisted like that?
I never complainted that EI vol. 1 & vol. 2 were included in that update!
I was simply stating that I was in the same situation and that I agree with Gosh on the fact that as a general trend, NI doesn't seem to really care about their long-time customers. A lot of you saw a relation where there was none.

I'm really grateful for the update and yes, it's free.
But on the other hand, would you have paid for it if it hadn't been? Or would you have kept your money for the long-awaited Reaktor 6 upgrade?
All I'm saying is that NI is getting all the Reaktor 5 custormers from the past 5 years (who may have stopped using it) interested in this product again, probably in order to sell more Reaktor 6 upgrade (I give it 2/3 months) than they would have sold without this update.
This is a very good business strategy.

i dont own reaktor YET but am drawn in by a friend since a few days...the only thing that can make reaktor 6 better than previous ones is turn massive into an ensemble and include it :)
