RED ALERT: this is an old thread that is only old due to procrastination. Feel free to read it and join in. I'm opening the project up again, and this time we'll finish it. I think it would be cool to take our pieces and provide them as a type of streaming "concert" online and promote the release of the works in conjunction with a charity event with a paypal mechanism (or whatever). Any thoughts on that?

I'm going to kick the Dream Sequencers Project project into high gear soon, but I'm not sure I have everyone's current email address. If you signed up for this initially and happen to read this post, please send me an email (not a PM because my box will fill up too fast). Thanks!

I need the following volunteers from anyone in the KVR community:

an aspiring music journalist who can create for us a 500-750 word essay on the subject of music and dreaming. Acknowledging other projects like this one would be welcome (such as Robert Rich's somnambulist stuff).
someone to help manage the communication and timeline that will be established soon
a Flash artist willing to make some cool banners to help promote the project once completed
someone to research and discover a worthy charity that we might partner with to help draw attention to their cause
someone to contact that charity and make arrangements to get their materials so that we can promote the online concert in conjunction with the charity

Not yet. I think that will mostly be determined by how soon we can find a charity to support, etc.

ill knock up something new then.i feel my chops are a little better these days and would like to make sure the project gets my best

hmmm a charity,i personally have always chosen childrens charitys.its my firm belief they are our future so need to be looked after more than anyone else.so that hopefully they wont make the same mistakes we did

but im open for this as its a group project

i have it on cd somewhere but due to drive cleas and stuff not on my system but il dig it out(the actual file i mean)that way ill be able to see if it was just me or both of us

yeah, me too. Futurehaus already links up with the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund, but we could find more. I wouldn't mind finding something that put food in a kid's mouth.

Hey Shane, I hope i am still onboard here for the Dream Sequence Project. Just a reminder of My piece, it was a collaboration between Mystahr and myself titled "Slow Passage" I may not have tagged it, I am not sure since it has been awhile. I am on DSL now so if you want I can send it to an FTP of yours with the proper identification. Will email you tomorrow about it. Glad this project is still going.
