So, how is it going for you guys? I simply love it on everything. It can create such cool spaces around drums and synths.

Just closed four (old style) mixes with Stagespace on everything but Verbtone on voice. Online soon :D

Cerendir in this thread made me think about some very interesting, different options for the early reflections (based on some physical models). Adding them soon for a different kind of ambience :)

I bought StageSpace too, on the recommendation of my good buddy, Filter303, here at KVR. If there's one thing that filter303 knows exceptionally well, it is reverb! His listening skills amaze me. Long story short, he advised me that for the money, (or maybe, regardless of the cost) that SKnote's StageSpace is an exceptional reverb plugin. For the lush sounding verbs it was created to provide, it stands proudly on the winner's podium alongside ValhallaRoom or Aether.

I don't yet own ValhallaRoom, but I've certainly demoed it. I have a keen ear, but I'm not a reverb expert. For the introductory price of $20, this plugin will amaze you. I haven't been so impressed by an "affordable" DSP VST since the release of Klanghelm's DC8C. In brief, this is definitely a top drawer, "go to" reverb plugin that will yeild excellent quality results for even the very discriminating home studio engineer. :!:

Thank you for the compliments my friend. But to be honest I have to say that I am not a reverb expert by any means. I just know what I like and StageSpace happens to fit my taste very well. I really like how it sounds with acoustic instrument sample libraries (strings, piano etc) and softer synth sounds too. Making slightly detuned reverbs with StageSpace is such a joy. I really put it in the level as Vroom and Aether which I also own.

I am glad you ended up buying StageSpace as it's such a good reverb. It's crazy how much goodness it gives you for the money. I think some people might be underestimating it because of the low price but that is their loss to be honest.

All I can say is that SKnote reverbs definitely fill a gap that I previously had with my reverb arsenal.
I really like Necklace too. it's excellent for that spring reverb sound. It's not only useful for guitars but it also does wonders with acid basslines and some drumsounds.

Definitely being underestimated because of their price, Necklace is an amazing spring (Prefer it to my actual spring which will now be sold haha) Stagespace is very lush and does sound very nice on a lot of orchestral stuff (Very important for me) Verbtone is still my favourite reverb sound (I cant use it right now, it has bad issues, Quinto is rewriting it and hopefully the sound remains)

It is rather strange that everytime i start looking at other verbs because i cant quite get the sound i need, Quinto drops one that fills the gap hahaha, I do demo V room every now and then but right now it doesn't offer anything i need over the SKNote stuff (Don't get me wrong, at some point i am certain i will need V room)

Quinto, could you please consider some kind of easy to use preset system? One where you can save presets and then always loading them up without saving/loading to fxb/fxp externally?
Your plugins deserves the best!

+ 510 000 ! :D

Would definitely be nice to have a nice preset system on these, luckily i am personally in Reaper and that has such a system built directly into the host, so not a huge want/need from me ;)

Post

Same with mutools and maschine here, but if you decide to change host or even switch, then it's nice to have it built in. (though i have mux also and can store it that way :)) but for simplicity!

Yes we absolutely need an internal preset sytem. All these proprietary formats are a nightmare, plus Steinberg abandoned fxp

It's possible in first update?

Post

The first update is almost ready and is getting more early reflections models, with physical modeled reflections and diffusion.

Then we can add the internal preset system, too.
