I couldn't give a monkeys about price; loyalty discounts have always been fair

Oh no, I have not already made up my mindDean Aka Nekro wrote:
You have already made up your mind (bought this bad boy) basically. virtual geetar pedals/amps...gear models have been slow of late and you naturally want more dynamical dirt. This does that and in alot of flavours. Panties 199 bucks, Plug-In probably 150. Am I right? Or at least close?![]()
Funds are still a bit tight.

Hibidy, At least your GAS is not now focused on real dirt pedals that can do wonders going into ampsims. I've been doing sort of the hybrid Hink method as of late.

Great a saturation plugin. Would have like to see more saturation types (like in the saturation plugin of URS - which is still 32bit). I only have Fabfilter One and I am thinking about buying the total bundle. They seem to have everything: great products, good support, nice tutorials and presets and they are dutch (as I am).

There are 16 types of saturation/distortion already, what else would you need?kiezum wrote:Great a saturation plugin. Would have like to see more saturation types (like in the saturation plugin of URS - which is still 32bit).

Yup I noticed that too with Volcano, the top end can sound overly warm/fizzy. Not in a nasty digital way so much as losing a bit of sharpness and focus. I haven't noticed such problems with Pro-Q though, a good eq plugin imho.FarleyCZ wrote:There is something about FabFilter plugins, in the sound of it, that is good when used just a little, but when playing bigger role in the mix, it sounds over-warmed to me. Saturn can benefit from that, but it can stick out a bit when used more. Eventhough i like it so far and wouldn't mid to have it at all, but with so far a bit cleaner sounding Ohmicide even and Mass Effect 3 on the way I really can't miss a single penny. :/
Though watching the video I think this could have its uses both in extreme settings more for an unusual effect but also subtle settings too. And as always I love the GUI of fabfilters stuff they make it soo incredibly easy to use.
Kinda tempting this one...
Anyone need a friend recommends 10% discount?
