I found the default preset as well ...... let's just blame plugin excitement!
Just been playing with it, and I have to second this. This thing is made for evolving sounds. I can probably get these sounds from other synths, but it would involve some extensive programming. It's a great design, simple yet deep, and it makes tweaking dead easy. It almost strikes me as being a synth version of Ambitron.ttoz wrote:
But for pads and atmos, and arps etc, it's nice. Real nice. Some gorgeous sounds there.
Completely agree! Has some really easy unique sounds to make. Blade is really fun to tinker and experiment with. The UI from that standpoint is a success. The visuals are too high in contrast IMO.ariston wrote:Just been playing with it, and I have to second this. This thing is made for evolving sounds. XY pad. Not really new, some synth have a similar thing to control parameters. The difference is more that movings can be recorded and will then played back (also synced to the host tempo). This are the rotating and moving balls with some presets.MFXxx wrote:Also what is going on with the middle panel and balls rotating all over the place, I know RTFM, but it was a quick demo and initial impression was not good.
