Right, so they didnt put a notice on their site saying you cant get it here anymore get it from facebook?billcarroll wrote:Absolutely incorrect. I was able to get the free synth without a Facebook account and so were many others. Yes the server was hard to reach, but David from Arturia also posted to help those with issues.Kriminal wrote:wrongbillcarroll wrote:Once again, your info is completely incorrect. their server went tits up and they switched the offer to FB, which required you to have a FB account so the serial could be sent to that email account.
Some people live to bitch.
ive also got minimonsta, waiting for that to go 64bit.Teksonik wrote:Give it a go. I know you've got Diva but really this has a charm all it's own.Kriminal wrote:might get round to trying it one day.

WOK wrote: addendum: A Facebook account was NOT required. I did NOT use the Facebook method. They suggested this when the site was overloaded, but noone was forced to. The page with the serial request form was always there, but indeed took many tries to load.
Yep it got over subscribed. Its free there's a limit to server loads!Mattiiiii wrote:Didn't get it. I only had about 2 hours(!) time, and first were the servers down
Facebook was a good way to work around the facebook server load, well done Arturia. Only took a couple of minutes to set up a new email address and facebook account.Mattiiiii wrote:and then it was only available through Facebook (what I don't consider "free" and of course didn't like and didn't do).
It was free and you didnt get it, that's not fake you simply missed out and got upset.Mattiiiii wrote:So even though I am aware of the high quality of Arturia products, for me they lost reputation for (1) setting up a fake "free" product (yes, when I tried to get it, Facebook was the only way),
It was free ffs what do you expect. They found a solution via facebook and taking the time to promote to help meet demend!?Mattiiiii wrote:(2) for being unable to anticipate the demand and configure their server capacities accordingly, and for

Then why bother moanin, griping and displaying displeasure! This post is BiPolar?!Mattiiiii wrote:But then again, I already own hundreds of plugins, I should be happy that there is no new temptation now
What do you expect them to do - buy more servers just for a freebie release? They clearly did their best to anticipate demand, they had several backup plans in place, torrents and the Facebook account. It seems to have worked fine for most of us, they even had a thread here and an email to contact. And it wasn't a "fake" freebie - they needed an automated system to identify people who wanted it - the "like" system is one built into Facebook, it's not like it costs anyone anything. I think they have handled this pretty well overall and deserve nothing but gratitude.Mattiiiii wrote:Didn't get it.
