some of those synths look pretty daunting to me.

not really they're all based on the same principles.
Here is a really good video tutorial on one of the synths and you can transfer this onto any synths.

I got an email from sales yesterday who suggested that I enter the code manually but I emailed back to say that I had already done this and it still didn't work.
I haven't heard anything since then so I'm not sure when the coupon code will be fixed.

exactly the same email here. As if i had not tried that already...
No answer to my reply/email from yesterday so far.
I had to spend some unplanned money for my car today so maybe i'll either pass with the upgrade or just get Jupiter 8V but let's see.
Based on the synths i already got the V-Collection is no real must have for me but it would be a nice addition. Anyway the full price would be too much for me.

All V Collection 3, except for FX from Wave Alchemy. Valhalla Room was used as well.
Spark VDM is really nice, I used the "Linn Dream" kit or whatever...
I think that kick may have been from a different spark kit though.
Let me know what you guys think, just threw this together this morning.
I'm very glad I waited to upgrade, it was a great deal.

I wonder how many people are having the same problem? My discount is for 199 euros. Perhaps that's the coupon that's not working properly. I'm also getting cold feet so unless Arturia hurry up they'll lose sales. I even sent them a link to this thread in my reply but no one from Arturia has responded. They don't seem to be taking this seriously.Ingonator wrote:Hi,munchkin wrote:UPDATE:munchkin wrote:Great! Thanks for the feedback. I also have a (but another) problem.
I was able to use the code, but didn't get a confirmation email from Arturia
(just one from paypal), and did not received an authorisation code.
But what annoys me slowly, is that I did not get a reply from support at all.
Did sent a reminder to them now...

My original plan was to buy Jupiter 8V only. I just used the "Killerkitty" deal at JRR Shop and ordered Jupiter 8V (download license) for just 65 Euros (99 Euros at Arturia)!!munchkin wrote:

Maybe after registering the plugin i'll receive a different coupon code...

I thought about doing this also. So far I have three products, Analog Lab, Mini V and SPARK Vintage. If we buy another synth at JRR for 65 Euros then will the upgrade at Arturia drop to 149 Euros or 99 Euros for the V Collection? If it's 149 Euros then buying another synth from JRR (even at discount) isn't worth it. If the V Collection upgrade is only 99 Euros for customers with four synths then this is a very good strategy.
The problem is, how do we know whether Arturia will lower the upgrade price if we buy another synth? Maybe the coupon codes are now fixed?
It's a bit of a risk.

Well, us three have contacted Arturia support about purchasing problems so I imagine others have as well. Perhaps they are trying to solve the different problems which is taking some time or they aren't bothered at all. It's hard to tell.losan wrote:I also have a (but another) problem.

Possible but i already got SEM V and Prophet V and now will get Jupiter 8V. Not to forget the free Minimoog V Original. For me those are the Arturia synths i really wanted and when i finally get the discount (or a working code) at Arturia i'll rethink about the upgrade.munchkin wrote:Ingonator wrote:My original plan was to buy Jupiter 8V only. Man this thread is haunting me. Arturia sent me an email saying I could get the collection for $299.
I'm trying to save up for a couple of hardware synths but dang this collection's so tempting. I would buy this thing in a second if it were $99-199.

So I demoed the SEM today. Really nice! I love the creamy sound it is very smooth.
I would jump on these, but doesnt it drive you a little crazy that they keep the synths so restricted?
One the one hand they do have some very cool features, on the other they are very basic just like the originals. In the VST world where you can do so much.. oh well.
